I was there yesterday, and won't visit again. I'm writing this review to suggest to anyone who might visit there alone, not to ask for a table that's bigger than the 2 persons table. Cuz that might ruin your meal like it did with mine.
I needed to have a late lunch on my own after voting, and the chilled weather brought me there to have a dish of creamy pasta.
I was initially led to a 2 persons table but I asked to be seated next to a window where all tables were large enough for 4. I saw nothing wrong in such request since it had already passed the peak hours, and only few tables were being occupied out of so many.
But then the lady who had been smiling until then turned cold so suddenly and told me that I needed to wait for it to be cleaned. Only a quick wipe was all it needed.
After that, I was served by another lady who was so cold so consistently until I left. Not sure whether she also disliked me seating in a bigger table. It was too bad that I tipped by habit as paying with a credit card. I regretted as walking out of the place which was too late. Even thought the food was good with only a few things to complain about, I was so uncomfortable that it didn't mean much.
Now the food, I ordered the 'Prawns' pasta which was named 'Prawns' on the menu. It only came with 5 small/medium size prawns. I expected 6 or more because that's what I normally get. Those that came with 6 either came in quite large size or along with few other kinds of seafood.
There was a couple of other seafood pastas that I was interested in, but now I know that it isn't worth going back to try them.
Second complaint, I found a hair in my dish, about half an inch long. Good thing was that it was dark and easy to find. When I got it out, no staff was seen around tha hall, so I just decided to ignore it. But I kinda hope that a staff could see it as I was trying to remove it...
Read moreThis is NOT the place to go with a group! Deeply disappointed, especially after the meticulous planning by my sister for a very special occasion.
It was my niece's engagement party, and my sister made plans weeks in advance for a group of 20. This included her own decor, and organizing a set menu for faster service. Yet it took almost 2 hours to receive our entrees, which were only adequate. Even the salads took forever to arrive, and the promised bread never arrived at all.
My husband and I arrived a bit early and were the first ones there. There was confusion on their part about where our group was to be seated, and they told us to wait in a corner while they figured it out. Yet all the manager was doing while we waited, was doing an overview with an employee. After waiting a bit, I tried to get her attention but just got "the hand". Seriously bad customer relations.
We asked about our entrees several times, and they kept saying just a few more minutes. One couple had a hospital appointment and after waiting almost 2 hours for their meals, with repeated requests to just bring them as takeout, they had to leave with no food. My husband politely asked the manager to ensure there was no charge for their meals, and received a blank stare like he was asking for something inappropriate. The lack of understanding of basic F&B service and customer service left us dumbfounded.
It appears this restaurant has decent reviews overall, but a group of 20 defeated them. Even with all the advance planning. For such a special occasion, it was so disappointing. Everyone understands that things can go wrong, so if they had tried to communicate about a situation they weren't on top of or offered a discount for such appalling service, it would have gone a long way. But there was nothing. We...

We recently visited this restaurant for a family dinner, hopeful for a memorable evening. Unfortunately, what we received fell far short of expectations.
It began with a long wait just to be acknowledged — 10 minutes before anyone approached our table. We ordered a bottle of wine and were told bread would follow shortly. The wine finally came 15 minutes later, and another five minutes after that, a few buns arrived. This delay set the tone for the evening.
My partner chose a three-course seafood special that included Caniloni, smoked salmon fettuccine, a starter salad, and dessert. While the salad eventually arrived, the rest of the courses came slowly and disjointedly. My step-son’s meal arrived first, followed by my partner’s and his father’s, and mine — the last — arrived incorrectly. I had ordered the veal Caniloni but received a mixed pasta plate instead.
When I brought this to the server’s attention, I was surprised by the resistance. Rather than acknowledging the mistake, she began arguing and implied that my partner had already received everything he was entitled to with the special. After clarifying, she said she’d bring the correct order. It finally arrived 20 minutes later, after everyone else had finished eating — and it was lukewarm at best.
To their credit, they offered a complimentary dessert, but it didn’t make up for the poor service, mixed-up orders, or the overall lack of attention to detail.
Dining out should feel special, and sadly, this meal felt more like a series of missed steps than a relaxing evening. Hopefully, they can improve — but we won’t be rushing back...
