Amazing food. Expected more as far as service from a place like this from going to other Korean BBQ places. Came with group of 6, but all night seemed to be somewhat neglected constantly having to ask for things after trying to get the attention of the server all visit. Place was not very busy either. Kept having to ask for more “unlimited” sides for our larger group and after 10-15 minutes of waiting to catch their eye each time, would only be brought one serving of sides when the table needed more given our size(started off with two sets on the table). Only would last a few minutes with how little they gave us. Had to ask for water about 5 times before they brought more (probably an hour later-only got one refill and we didn’t have the energy for ask for another small pitcher for the table again). Call bell did not work or they maybe didn’t care to answer. Asked for more food and got our order wrong several times (asked for 6 more portions of rice twice, and only got 3). While not a big deal, the burner at our table kept going out too, and the floor in the place was incredibly sticky with an oil-film so much so that you were sliding on your shoes almost. We are disappointed with our experience given we brought our out of town guests who never had Korean BBQ before. For what we know it can be, I’d be hesitant to return here. We really don’t ask for much and are laid back, but we felt like we were almost an annoyance to the servers. You are sort of dependant in this style of eating on the sever to get refills because they give you small portions meant to be replenished frequently, but felt this was lacking greatly. Given the great reviews, maybe just a random (very) bad...

Three of us went there for lunch. The posted opening time was 11:00 AM. One of my friends, an elderly lady, arrived two minutes before opening (10:58) and found the door open. When told it wasn’t open yet, she quietly waited by the entrance, but the staff insisted she must wait outside. She didn’t want to embarrass me because I had chosen this restaurant, so she stood outside in the cold, waiting silently.and only told us about it later, after even worse service happened.
The restaurant was almost empty that morning — only two tables were occupied, including ours. The staff told us there was a 2-hour limit for lunch. We completely understood and promised to leave on time. However, less than one hour after we sat down, the tall male staff member came over more than three times — trying to pack our food, handing us the bill, cleaning the floor right next to us, and asking unnecessary questions — clearly hinting for us to leave. At that time, there were still only two tables occupied, and no customers waiting.
We first ordered a combo costing about $80. The staff said it was “not enough, only for two people.” We replied that we will check the menu and add more meals but still wanted the combo, and asked him to place the order for the combo first. He refused, saying he wouldn’t place any order until we had ordered “enough meals,” then walked away abruptly.
My friends later told me they had never experienced such treatment in any other restaurant. I felt so sorry because I was the one who chose this...
Read moreThe food is good, and the venue is quite decent, except for the sticky floor. However, the biggest issue was the service from one of the waitresses. She seemed extremely reluctant to assist with cooking the meat—even though I never asked her to. If she preferred to focus on her phone rather than serve, she could have at least done so without displaying such an unwilling attitude toward us.
Another major red flag was the service after payment. I noticed that the 10% discount wasn’t applied, so I politely asked a staff member about it. I wasn’t aware that the combo set didn’t qualify for the discount, as this exclusion wasn’t mentioned on the tablet’s homepage (I only found out later after clicking into the discount section). My inquiry was as simple as, “Hi, I just wanted to check if my order qualifies for the 10% discount?”—a completely neutral and reasonable question. However, the response I received was an immediate “You can read it, right!?”—which was then repeated three times, as if to make sure I fully absorbed the condescending tone.
I wasn’t being rude or demanding, just asking a question out of curiosity. Given that the exclusion isn’t prominently stated, I doubt I’m the first person to inquire about it. It’s unreasonable for any customer to endure such an attitude, especially in a restaurant that also expects tips.
I’m really disappointed with the service, especially since I’ve had good experiences here before. Unfortunately, I don’t think I’ll be coming back—I’d rather not deal with this kind of treatment when life is already difficult...
