Deep Cove Ice Cream — Restaurant in District of North Vancouver

I was here last Saturday after a hike with my friend. Nothing fancy as another yelper mentioned, but this place is cheaper than Gelato Express next door. I've only went here for cheaper price and the taste is satisfying I must say. I've had single scoop of cherry icecream for $4.79.

If you ask staff for sampling they'll definetely help you. Service was fast and attentive. I'd say the price and the taste was good for...

After finishing the trail, a sweet treat was definitely in order — and what better way to recharge than with some ice cream? The staff at the shop were super friendly and let us sample a few different flavors. My favorite was Akbar Mashti, which, judging by the name, seems to be inspired by Indian spices. It had a pistachio base enhanced with saffron and rosewater, giving it a beautifully layered flavor that was surprisingly refreshing and well-balanced.

We also tried the classic pistachio flavor, which had real pistachio bits in it — a nice touch! But it leaned a bit creamier and richer, so it got a little heavy after a few bites.
