Starbucks — Restaurant in District of North Vancouver

Wow… what a vibe. If you’re into coffee shops that feel like a funeral home, this is the place for you. Not a single smile — I honestly felt bad for interrupting whatever gloomy energy was going on.

The barista at the till got my order wrong, and when I politely asked for a remake, the barista making drinks shot me a crazy side-eye and immediately started gossiping with the till barista… right in front of me. Like girl, at least pretend to wait until we leave.

The “new” drinks? Didn’t taste like oat at all — pretty sure they just handed us the same two drinks 5 minutes apart. 😅 We didn’t even bother arguing and just left.

I was in your location on Friday March 24th at just before 9:30am There was 5 people approx sitting in location and I was 4th in line. Line up went quick and there were 3 ladies working. I forgot one of the items on my 2 person order and inquired what oat cold brew beverages they had. It's rare in the service industry not to come across impatient clerks that seem inconvenienced. This experience was sooo the opposite. They collaborated excited to help me and get creative and made me a special drink. Absolutely amazing ladies....

I have noticed over the last several years that starbucks batistas do not stir your drinks anymore before handing them out. Yesterday took the cake when I ordered an iced chai latte and the barista tried to hand it to me with the syrup/chai concentrate in the bottom of the cup and just milk on top.
