Where to begin ... ? Was intrigued to try this little food and drinks joint by the mostly positive reviews. Though there were some bad reviews (i.e. slow service, not great quality food) I thought the good out-weighed the bad. Unfortunately, those bad reviews were correct in what to expect.

Fresh Kenny's has a great location, and could become a great evening spot for drinks and snacks, but unfortunately they just aren't able to cope with the heavy service of a Friday night. With only two servers and one hostess and no bartender, they were barely keeping up with the 10 or tables and countless take-out orders.

We were the first table to be seated in our area (only 3 tables were seated when we arrived). It took 30 minutes to get menus and drink ordered. After another 20 minutes or so, we watched tables seated after us continue to be served and receive their food. Eventually, the 2nd server came to our table, apologized for the wait, and asked if we were ready to order. We said we were ready, and she said that she would have to ask the main server if she could take the order for her or if the main server would be by to take our order soon. The main server never came by, so the 2nd server (clearly very observant of the happening of the floor) came back, apologized again and then took our order anyways. We waited patiently, and eventually the restaurant started clearing out as all the other tables had been served, finished their meals, and left. We asked to move to another more comfortable table, and then continued to wait for our food. By this time, the restaurant had cleared out except for ourselves, two guys at the bar, and the occasional person picking up their take out order. Finally, after being at the restaurant for 1.5 hours, we got our food.

The food was correct in what we had ordered, but the quality was terrible. The burger was overcooked, and had clearly been sitting in the pass through for a while as the melted cheese had hardened again and the meal was no longer hot. The other chicken burger was still hot, but my own dish was cold as well. Plus the bowl my food was served in was visibly dirty on the outside with food that was not well washed off. Not only that, but it was chipped and cracked in so many places there is no way that would pass as food safe or safe to handle by a health inspector. We brought this (and only this issue) up with our main server when she came to take our dishes, and she no joke actually ignored us and just asked how we wanted our bills split then walked away. Plus, when she had asked us about the bills, our friends were still in the middle of their meals. Unreal! The 2nd server, who was so kind, came over and asked if we were actually ready for the bills or not, we said no, so she said she would bring them later once we actually were ready to pay. This was all 2.5 hours before they were closed, and there was no line of people waiting for tables, so we should not have been rushed by the main server.

Absolutely one of the worst meals I have ever had! I should have known it wouldn't have been good since as soon as I walked through the door I was hit in the face by the overwhelming smell of grease. Also no a.c. on a hot August day... Boiled the entire time we were all there for lunch. Terrible service. More than 10 minutes before the waitress asked us what we would like to drink, 1 other table of people so it wasn't busy. The cokes we ordered were flat. I had a burger with fries and gravy. The beef was clearly the cheapest that could be purchased, the flavour was the same as regular ground beef. Greasy and not good. There no seasoning at all, just plain meat. And also grey... I do have a photo of it but there is no option to post it with this comment. The fries were not hot and overly salty. Could not finish them. The gravy was way over salty and tasted like OXO powder mixed with water and corn starch. So the mixture of the overly salty fries and overly salty gravy was putrid! Dry and disappointing, the entire meal. Left feeling not well. Waitress was MIA most of the time. More customers came in after we started eating and they returned their meals as they said the food was disgusting. I've read through others comments and the replies given. These are more than 1 offs like I've read. Either retrain your staff so they know what they're doing or get new staff who already know. You most definitely need new recipes for your flavourless cheap tasting food. Use quality ingredients if you want more people to come back. The only reason I ate the meal was because I hadn't eaten before we came in and I was famished. Never again. It was TERRIBLE!!...

Not sure how to rate it. I did email With no reply. I’ve been a many times. When driving through and have stopped in to eat as well. We visit the area often. Always order dinner for two or family dinners. Most of the time it had been great with good sizes. Last time servings seemed a bit less. Such as less fried and less coleslaw. The last time we went in august though was disappointing. We ordered a halibut meal when in town or driving through as that’s what my spouse likes and a cod meal. The halibut was supposed to be two pieces and came with 3 nugget sized pieces of mostly batter. Not even the size of one halibut. They didn’t even say they were running out of halibut to offer maybe half halibut half cod to actually equal enough fish for two pieces. Halibut costs a fair amount more so this was not ok. The coleslaw serving was also two spoonfuls each. Where it used to be a good amount. So my husband was left hungry. Also the last time we ordered a family size pack and we didn’t even get enough fries for 4 people. The serving was half the time before. I’m not sure if they have different cooks or forget what orders they are doing but it’s been inconsistent. It’s unfortunate because the food is good when done right. Taste would get a 4-5 starts But inconsistency gets 2 so I’ll average a 3. Unsure if we will be back because it’s not cheap to eat out these days and we don’t want to be hungry after.
