I don't post reviews often, or ever, but this one definitely deserves it.

From the get go, we were greeted by a warm smile, courtesy of Midori-san. The place smelled nice, the ambiance music was relaxing and we were taken care of right away(granted me and my kids were the only ones present at the time).

We were given a perfect balance of service and time to decide what we wanted.

I paid and our meals were delivered promptly within 5 -10 minutes tops.

Midori-san made sure we had everything we needed including proper utensils for the kids and chopsticks for me.

Now for the food...

Oh my god! A Thick rich hot (but not too hot) broth, perfectly cooked and super tender slices of chashu pork, firm and filling homemade noodles nicely presented with an assortments of bok-choy cabbage, soft boiled egg and slices of seaweed. It was everything I was hoping for and then some. My kids thoroughly ate their own meal and the portion was just right.

At some point, my youngest kid needed to use the washroom and I got too distracted by the food and he asked for the washroom where she, again, promptly and gently directed him.

As we were finishing our meal, more customers started to pour in and midori-san greeted them with her warm smile in the same manner she received us.

As we left, I proceeded to let her and Shige-san know how delicious the food was and that we will be back( and trust me, we will!). After that, Midori-san gently escorted us out, waving us goodbye from the door as we walked away from the establishment.

What a perfect time. My belly, my heart and my soul were filled.

I definitely recommend this place to anyone wanting a good, peaceful time with authentic Japanese ramen(and other assortments of foods)

Thank you again...

As much as I’d love to try the ramen, and think how authentic looking and smelling really good from outside. The moment I walked into the store, my head started to hurt by some kind of STRONG CHEMICAL SMELLS and I think it’s RESIN that from every pink hand paint table in store ?! Owner explain below it is their broth’s smell but I’m sure it’s NOT base on being a Japanese and I have gone to uncountable Ramen restaurants. However to be fair, It didn't bother my friend so I guess it’s just people who’s sensitive to smell and toxic chemicals ? But I really wouldn’t recommend this for children.

It’s unfortunate that I didn’t get a chance to stay longer but I’d still encourage everyone to try this place as it’s really looking like the owner has put a lot of heart and passion into the store. (Owner can also learn better to listen to review...

Like great food? Try the their Ramen... like noodles, try their Ramen, like great broth, try their Ramen. Want to support a great business? Have a bubble tea... then try their Ramen. 'Nough said? ... no, I can't say enough good things about this place. They have caring owners and staff that Also care. My only flaw is that I can't eat there everyday. It's beautiful, it's kind, it's fulfilling. I enjoy everything this establishment represents from the passion the family puts into it to the smile I have on my face when I leave. When I leave, the owner will thank me with the same gratitude I feel from having the pleasure of eating their food. This reminds me of how humble they are as well, they have never asked me for anything except to make sure I'm happy. Which me and my family have...

Driving by Duncan, stopping in Duncan or if you live in / near. Neko Ramen needs to be your “One and Only” destination to eat. They take pride in crafting everything from scratch. From their homemade miso, to their freshly made noodles. It doesn’t just look amazing, the lingering, lasting flavors roaming around your mouth, making you to still eat more. We had the special honour of meeting the owner, the chef that night. This is not just any ramen resturant. It’s “THE PLACE” … Keep up the great work everyone (I so hope my post, makes more people come in and experience what we did tonight ❤️. Linda, Sabrina & Darryl Port Moody, BC Canada 🇨🇦

Don't wanna miss this Duncan treasure! Authentic delicious and inclusive! Menu is flexible with vegan gyoza and noodle options! I recomend the Vegan Tan Tan Mein! They offer the conventional versions of these dishes aswell. Miso fan? Try the garlic miso on the side of your gyoza! Quality ingredients and the commitment for good food you can only get with a local shop! A variety of bubble tea also, with vegan options. Can't wait to come back!

The aesthetic is great, the staff are friendly and helpful, and the food is excellent! One of the more dynamic restaurants in town, and I’m happy they’re in such a small area. We need more diversity in Duncan. Would love to see more menu offerings but what they currently have is satisfying nonetheless! Edit to respond to the owners: No worries! We love you anyways, keep doing what you do, the community supports you. 💕
