Carl's Jr. — Restaurant in Edmonton

After reading the reviews of this place i decided to give it a try. Took my family for supper there tonight and the only reason i am giving it 2 stars are for cleanliness ..which should be no surprise as its fairly new. And a second star for staff friendliness. As for the food..the shake was delicious...and onion rings..well they were just that. Onion rings nothing special. The menu don't have their toppings posted so when i got a hawaii chicken burger it was on whole wheat which i didnt know about (as that bun was really dry and i did not like it) i questioned them if there were options for buns as my families burgers were on white. They THEN said the hawaii came on whole wheat..would have been nice to know BEFORE i ordered it! Food was nothing impressive or any different then any other speciality burger joint. Seating is extremely squished. You feel like your eating with the people at the next table thats how close you are. I tried it and was not impressed and really dont know how people give this place a 5 star for food??? But to...

Very bad service. I usually go to this plaza with my friends. I clearly told them to make a fresh burger, but they gave me one that was at least an hour old. I love supporting new restaurants, but when I told the cashier, she insisted it was fresh. Now I understand why the restaurant is empty—such a nice place but terrible service. Please visit Popyees or some other place

Also, i am editing to clarify the reason for the one-star rating. I am leaving one star due to a disappointing experience.

I told the cashier I was willing to wait up to 20 minutes for a fresh burger, and she assured me it would be made fresh off the fryer. However, just 30 seconds later, she handed me a burger that had clearly been sitting for at least one hour.

I agree the place looks nice, but the food quality doesn’t even deserve one star. When I returned to request a replacement, the request was denied, and I was told again, “We only serve fresh food.” This was misleading and disappointing. It felt like a quick money grab from...
