Chopped Leaf is a great place for healthy wraps and salads. You can get chef-made menu options, or order custom-made salads and wraps. I appreciate the custom option, as I have several food allergies.
I recently went to Chopped Leaf twice for lunch when I was in the area for a conference. I found the process for ordering custom salads a bit disorganized. Their competitor, Freshii, uses checklists on mini clipboards that you complete while in line. Chopped Leaf didn’t have this, and when I asked to see the list of options for their custom salads, the cashier had to go find the placard. Not an efficient practice, especially at lunch time when there’s a line up.
I also feel like Freshii has more options of toppings and mix-ins than Chopped Leaf does.
Additionally, in the first lunch, my salad ended up with olives, which I did not order. On the second day, I noticed a wayward peanut. While both these foods are safe in my case, it makes me a little wary of possible contamination of my orders in the future.
Overall, the meals are fresh, and the portions...
Read moreI really like chopped leaf because of how fresh there food is and how yummy their salad dressing is. I can't have cheese and I always get the sunshine bowl so they always give me extra apples and cucumbers free of charge! I ordered from there yesterday and was a little disappointed on the chicken and dressing so I called in and told me to come in and they would replace it for me free of charge. I ended up going in today to grab my new salad and they were super friendly and very nice about it. I also really like how I can look up on their website to see the allergens in everything it gives me a peace of mind knowing i won't get sick from eating from there. I go here about once or twice a week and will continue going here. Only reason i deducted one star is because of the parking in the area its super hard to even try to get a parking spot around chopped but I know this is not...
Read moreToday was our first and last time ever coming here. Some of the worst service I’ve ever received in a restaurant. Didn't even get a “hi” when I came into the restaurant. The people were not friendly at all, one girl was extremely rude, she rolled her eyes at me because I asked if I could taste test one of the dressings because I had never been there before, and no, I was not the only person who could tell she literally rolled her eyes at me, like it was such an inconvenience to do her job. They were very rude. Spend five dollars more and get a salad from Boston Pizza instead, tastes better, you get more, and the service isn’t rude! They had the nerve to put in the debit machine to ask for a tip. Why would I ever give a tip before even eating and to a place that was rude to me and food wasn’t worth the price. It honestly kind of ruined my day having a place be so rude...
