Chopped Leaf — Restaurant in Edmonton

Wow 😮 I am not sure what to say about this place today and as soon as I walked in . I knew something was up . You had about 4/5 staff standing around the cash register and I was next to get service and was specific with my stuff but no one seemed to be listening and they were not very busy , only after me they had 2 orders and I realized that when I sat down the person after me got her order before mine .. umm well the worst thing was when I received my food and watched the female staff member using one glove and touching my food with both hands as she had just helped me at the till . I did not want to eat it . I decided to try my vegetable bowl but my rice was extremely hard and the falafel was so dry . Well I was done eating and I couldn’t enjoy my food but when she kept apologizing because she wanted to make me another one , she did but I took it home and when I did try to eat it . Son and I went here for lunch. Around $10-11 for a salad, wrap or bowl. I order the Mediterranean salad and the Thai Peanut for the boy. Oh, there is no protein? Oh, I can add an egg or some chicken slices or tofu. The chicken slices I'm talking about here, are not the good stuff. This is the semi transparent mass produced plastic chicken stuff for $4.00. Now we are at $15 per salad, add a drink each and it was over $40. For this price IMO this salad should be epic, huge, tasty, filling and protein rich. It was tasty but missed the mark on the rest. We'll stick to a chef salad somewhere...

Chopped Leaf is an excellent restaurant but this particular location really needs to step up their game. I've ordered twice from Skip and both times they got my order wrong and it was nothing complicated. Most recently I ordered a steak quesadilla extra steak, and a chicken quesadilla extra chicken and I got 2 steak quesadillas with no extra meat (which they charge a lot for) You get a feeling like they really just don't care at this location and are likely poorly managed.
