Fuzion Donuts — Restaurant in Edmonton

Honestly, my hopes were sky-high to try this place. The promise of a fantastical menu, a veritable carnival of donut flavours, had me completely hooked.

The atmosphere inside, however, was like a forgotten waiting room, completely devoid of any sparkle or life. A Krispy Kreme has more energy, and that's saying something. It is absolutely not the kind of place you'd want to linger with a coffee and a magical treat, that is for sure. And the donuts on display? Oh, they looked so weary. They did not beckon me to buy them, that is for sure.

The service was practically non-existent. The one staff member didn't say a single word to me; he just stood there like a silent donut sentry, waiting for me to talk. He literally said nothing. It was such a weird encounter.

Food: To be honest, the donuts themselves were profoundly sub-par. This place gets all these raving reviews, and I just can't fathom it. The only reason I'm giving 2 stars is for the sheer imagination—the concepts for the donuts are straight out of a storybook. That part was brilliant. But the actual taste? It was all costume and no character. A whole lot of flash with nothing to back it up... SUPER!!! DISAPPOINTING.

All of this and WAAAAYYY overpriced... 5 dollars for a donut.... Yikes....

A Hidden Gem in Edmonton!

My wife and I recently relocated from Surrey, BC to Spruce Grove, and in our quest for a donut fix, we stumbled upon Fuzion Donuts in Edmonton. What an incredible find!

From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by Kamal, whose warm and friendly demeanor made our visit unforgettable. It's rare to encounter such outstanding customer service these days, and Fuzion Donuts is truly fortunate to have Kamal on their team. He expertly guided us through their delightful selection, making recommendations that did not disappoint.

The donuts? Absolutely divine! Each one was a masterpiece – fresh, bursting with flavor, and perfectly balanced in sweetness. We even saved some for the next day, and they were still wonderfully fresh after warming them up.

The ambiance of the lobby was equally impressive. It was beautifully decorated, clean, and inviting, making our experience even more enjoyable.

We wholeheartedly recommend Fuzion Donuts to anyone in the area. Be sure to say hello to Kamal when you visit – his exceptional service truly enhances the experience.

I’ve been meaning to write a review for this place for a long time. First and foremost, Kamal(I believe that’s how you spell his name) is one worker who i’ve seen almost everytime I go in and he’s been amazing each and every time I visit. He’s always remembered which specialty donuts i’ve had last and is such a great person to chat with. I’ve been obsessed with these donuts since I first had them at a farmers market! I’ve had almost all of the flavors but I enjoy the ube donuts very much. I go about 1-2x a month just for their ube donuts, i’ve been to a handful of shops that serve ube donuts and I can confidently say that I haven’t had anything better than Fuzions Ube deluxe donut. The airiness of the dough, the not too sweet cream filling is just the perfect mix. These are deluxe donuts so keep in mind they are a little on the pricier side for donuts alone, but for most specialty donut shops $3-5 a donut is pretty standard. They are continually bringing out new flavors, which means there is always something new to try. This is a must try donut shop please come visit if you’re in the area.
