My first experience here was a last minute, late-night, takeout order at the Westside restaurant on 100 Ave. I was immediately blown away at the beautifully decorated, clean, warm and inviting atmosphere. There was a dessert display filled with cakes, pies and parfait cups right as I walked in, as well as another refrigerated display closer to the counter filled with fresh, colorful juices, sparkling waters, hummus, salads and various other grab-n-go items. Behind the register were vibrant digital display screens of the menu and hot trays stretching down the length of the glass into the dinning area. I was collecting my order, just 5 minutes before closing, looking around in complete awe, when I was approached and offered a complimentary hot, sweet and delicious tea - so unexpected and appreciated. The staff that night were friendly, smiling and just extremely pleasant to deal with. NOW, THE FOOD! 😍🤌✨️💖 I eat a plant-based diet, have for nearly 12 years, and I've developed a real love for Mediterranean cuisine - So, I was pleasantly surprised with how many options were available to chose from as well as the over-all quality, taste and the freshness! Omg, so fresh! My expectations were totally blown out of the water! I had an almost $60 order and probably devoured, no word of a lie, about $30 worth before I was even able to make it out of the parking lot... That was the BEST baklava I've EVER had, the vine leaves were superb, the garlic potatoes are absolutely addictive, and their hummus... UGH, WOW! chef's kiss 👌 Jerusalem Shawarma, your food, service and location are truly exceptional! I can't wait to come back and to share this new-found gem with others. You've certainly gained a loyal...

A Taste of Perfection at Jerusalem Shawarma West Edmonton! I recently had the pleasure of visiting Jerusalem Shawarma's West Edmonton location, and I can honestly say it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. If you're looking for authentic, flavourful, and generously portioned Middle Eastern cuisine, look no further! From the moment I walked in, the aroma of spices and grilling meats was incredibly inviting. The restaurant was clean, well-maintained, and had a welcoming atmosphere. The staff were exceptionally friendly and efficient, taking my order with a smile and making helpful recommendations. Now, for the food – simply divine! I opted for their classic chicken shawarma plate, and it did not disappoint. The chicken was perfectly seasoned, tender, and incredibly juicy, sliced right off the vertical rotisserie. The accompanying rice was fluffy and flavourful, and the fresh salad provided a refreshing contrast. And let's not forget the garlic sauce – creamy, potent, and utterly addictive! Their hummus was also incredibly smooth and rich, clearly made with high-quality ingredients. What truly sets Jerusalem Shawarma apart is the quality and freshness of their ingredients. Every component of my meal tasted vibrant and prepared with care. The portions are also incredibly generous, offering fantastic value for the price. Whether you're a long-time fan of Middle Eastern food or new to it, Jerusalem Shawarma West Edmonton is an absolute must-try. It's quickly become my go-to spot for a delicious and satisfying meal. Highly,...

After throwing the falafel test at you, your well deserved five stars go for food, service, atmosphere, prices and overall experience. Really great job guys. I tried the falafel at another Jerusalem site and it was terrible, it looked like burnt from outside due to the frying oil color; and it tasted like powder mix falafel. Yours was green with vegies and moist and well spiced from inside with a light frying color from the outside. When I was invited by my daughter to your place, I immediately said NO WAY HOSEH. However, later, I was so thrilled that she convinced me to try your branch. My first star goes to the portions, please see the picture. My second star goes to the taste. I am a picky meat and chicken eater and the aroma of the meat hits me first. Their meat and chicken smelled amazing and the meat was tender and juicy. The third star goes to the service, thank you for the cashier lady, Mona, and thank you for the server, Khalid, who allowed me as well to keep the free tea pot to our table exclusively... lol. I thanked you both personally and I am thanking you online as well. The fourth star goes for the atmosphere, your decoration is one of its kind. The fifth star goes to the owner for taking good care of the food quality and portions; and for evidently his welcoming workers. From a very satisfied customer, God bless you and your business. Keep it up, please...

If you're a fan of Middle Eastern cuisine, Jerusalem Shawarma in West Edmonton is a must-visit spot! The restaurant's interior is spacious and decorated with Middle-Eastern style, which makes for a unique and inviting ambiance. The food is exceptional and packed with flavor, especially the Arabi-style Beef Shawarma platter. The wrap is slightly crunchy, which is a unique twist that sets it apart. I've tried many Shawarmas but this one comes pretty close to what I have had in Kuwait and Dubai. Ordering is easy with a wide range of items on the menu. The tables are well-designed to give diners privacy from others. Once you sit down, a friendly gentleman named Rashid with a million-dollar smile, greets you with warm spiced black tea sweetened with honey (compliments of the house) that just sets the mood for the exquisite food that arrives quite quickly to your table. Before you finish your meal, Rashid surprises you with Baklava, again - on the house! They also offer fresh juices ready to order. We had the Mango and Lemon mint juices and both were great. They also have salads, hummus, and other items ready to go in a fridge right beside the counter. We left with full hearts and bellies, and we plan to go there many times again. Thank you, Rashid, and Jerusalem Shawarma for opening a location here in West Edmonton!

My family and I got served by Khalid and boy let me tell you, he's definitely one of the many driving factors to visit this restaurant. I ordered the Royal BBQ Plate and, like many of the other reviews here, is as fresh as it can get. I'm talking super large, high quality, homemade food. It's such a large portion that you can't help but wonder if you'd want to take it home or eat it all like a champ. I did the second thing, because I was that hungry. It's very filling, very flavorful and of course, very delicious. On the service side of things, Khalid carried three trays at once, which, I can't imagine how long it got him to hold three "heavy" plates at once. He offered us their authentic Shay (Arabic tea) and it's just right! I could ask for a whole kettle for some Shay. He's the "must-have" kind of waiter in any restaurant. Lastly, the interior fits both modern and cultural Arabia. The lamps are beautiful, the kettle he brought is gorgeous and, as I have to mention again, the Arabic culture really shows and sells well in here. Like any other shawarma restaurant, I highly recommend coming here with an empty stomach, but if you're really looking for authentic shawarma, Jerusalem Shawarma is one of those restaurants that does it well and swell, low and slow.
