First of all THE FAT CAUCASIAN “supervisor” JACQUELYN NEEDS TO STOP EATING AT MCDONALDS AND MCDONALDS SHOULD BE ASHAMED TO HAVE RUDE, IGNORANT, BIG MOUTH, INCONSIDERATE, DEGRADING, and last but not least CUSTOMER APPRECIATION people in that position!!!! Yes Jacquelyn I am talking about you! I have never in my life wrote a review but your ignorance could NOT go by and not be mentioned. JACQUELYN THE “SUPERVISOR”! I went in for my husband for lunch and yesterday am my husband went there and was supposed to get the 2 for one snack McFlurry but he only got one. I called once he got home and I talked to a wonderful lady supervisor and she was totally fine and told him to come back and he can get a regular one. Well I went there and got his lunch and asked for manager. As “he”” was approaching i realized it wasn’t the “woman” I talked to yesterday. I quickly gave him the details and didn’t he didn’t even know about the special so he asked JACQUELYN “THE SUPERVISOR” she came storming at me like a mad rhino and said loudly and ignorantly in front of ALL customers that she will only do it this one time without a receipt. Well, they’re should NEVER be a second time!!!!! And countinued on yet in front of the public (busy lunch hour) still arguing that I should’ve known the supervisors name because they “ALWAYS” give their name. Told her sorry I didn’t know and she STORMED OUT OF COURSE LIKE A FAT BEAST THAT JUST GOT CALLED FOR DINNER! I was extremely appalled and taken off guard I even forgot to fill my drink and get condiments! I asked the manager what HER name was and it was JACQUELYN. Well if all the “supervisors” were to give their name why didn’t she? She acted like it came out of dinner piggy bank! I would’ve just paid for it instead of being treated like a dumb PAYING CUSTOMER!!!!! I was so shocked for someone in customer service to act like that, never mind being a supervisor! Shame on you McDonalds for letting employees treat customers like that, especially in front of everyone!!! It’s embarrassing and doesn’t look good for the title! As I was dumb founded I stormed out embarrassed because I was just got yelled at by JACQUELYN THE RHINO. As I walked out I seen her and “reminded” her that all SUPERVISORS ALWAYS GIVE THEIR names and reminded her that she never gave me hers as I had to get it from the manger! She continued on yelling at me outside so loud that someone driving out of the parking lot hit a crate because he was too busy watching her flip out. This location gets all products through Sysco from the McDonalds Supply Chain. (Looking at you Oliver Sq. McD's with your "popcorn" flavored McNuggets. ) As a 24hr McDonalds they are always fairly busy, which is exactly what you want as a customer because it ensures your food isn't spending time in a warming drawer, (or under a red light for 45-120 minutes. However it's not ALL good news over here at the Kingsway location.. Ordered an Iced coffee for the first time a few days ago, I had no idea what I should be expecting from a McDonalds Iced Coffee and asked for a double double, believing that the normal iced coffee would come black.. Wrong. Unfortunately what I got was a cool cup of milk to which i was unsure if coffeee had even been added, Another situation that commonly arises at this location is when you are ordering delivery, you often get wrong or missing items in your half-sealed paper bags, but on the plus side McDonalds customer service number IS in the app, and they will fix thngs up for you quick. So I personally suggest being polite to their staff on the phone. Last problem... and then we are back to praise, I've applied to work at this McDonalds quite a few times because as a customer I recognize the staff act quite professionally, in spite of sometimes having some tough-looking patrons they are always polite and friendly, and you get consistent, courteous service from the staff no matter who you are or what you're wearing. This doesn't sound so bad.. right? Wrong.. did you notice i never said i currently work at this location? That fact alone is going to weigh heavily on their final review score.
I have a son and my son has autism, and wow does he ever like to shout louder than everything else in any room we are in. The friendly staff at this location have never told me that if he wouldn't stop we would have to go somewhere else. They've never come over to ask what his problem is, nobody makes us feel like we're a burden, unwanted, or even the slightest bit annoying. It can be very difficult to find a full staff for your restaurant who are also legitimately nice friendly people but this location has certainly done the job right, There's always a register with a staff member in place so you're not forced to learn a POS operating system if you really dont have time today (or ever) Thank you staff at Kingsway for making your location the best in the city, and an absolute joy to order from, or visit. Read moreMy daughter was hungry and we bought a chicken nugget meal, i told her to take out because i still have ultrasound at royal alex and i am 32weeks pregnant. I didn’t notice or i didn’t see their sign in the parking lot because when i was park my car there’s no sign and i am not stupid to park my car their if i see the sign, i am a part of the customer as well. I did park for almost 1hr, After my ultrasound and when i saw my car they’re towing it, i was waiting the stop light into green so i can passed walking in mcdo and my daughter was panicking and crying my daughter told me mommy we can run so we can talk the guy. I was running and 32weeks pregnancy. When i talked the guy he doesn’t understand english he called his boss then he told me to pay the $157.57. Without any explaining and listening to me and they heard my daughter was crying and afraid then i heard the wife of the guy i am talking in the phone was laughing, i told them i do not have xtra money in my debit and i need to call my husband. All of the sudden i think they called the manager that they are same language maybe that is a part of this towing. I talked to him i told him I didn’t see the sign and i bought food as well then i am rushed to do my ultrasound, that time my daughter keeps on crying because she’s afraid. The manager say to me you need to pay now $157.57 or else they gonna bring your car he doesn’t care about my medical condition and he saw my daughter was crying. Their sign was facing at the road, but i parked in without sign so that’s why i didn’t know. But for me because this is my first time that someone towed my car. Why they don’t give warning first before they called towing.
