Pizza 106 — Restaurant in Edmonton

Update: They called me the next day and apologized for the confusion and offered a replacement pizza, which we picked up tonight. It was fantastic as their pizza has been in the past. Thank you for correcting your error, happy to recommend your pizza once again!

Original post: This was an awesome place for pizza until today! I love their crust, and most of the pizzas we have purchased have been great (except the donair pizza). Today I called to order a pizza And was told during phone call on their sub-par quality phone (very difficult to hear them talking) that I should check the website for their specials. I told them I wasn't in a situation that allowed me to do so and said I would just get what I ordered. After picking up the pizza, it was discovered the wrong toppings were on it. Called to discuss and was told they had changed their menu this week. They gave us a pizza we could not eat due to ingredient changes....they did not offer to fix it even after I asked if they would fix and just said I would know for next time. There may never be a next time with...

Although I have yet to try the pizza from Pizza 106, I can at least say that the donair here is exceptionally good. It has a certain "x-factor" that other donairs from other places don't seem to have. If I were to guess, I'd say the difference is made by the beef, and how it's spiced. It simply tastes much better than what you'd buy at a popular spot like Marco's Famous.

Beyond the food itself, the restaurant is new and is designed very nicely. It looks very nice and has a modern appearance to it, which makes a good impression on someone entering the shop for the first time. There is a modest seating area in-front of the counter that offers plenty of personal space so you're not bumping shoulders with other customers.

It is also worth mentioning that Pizza 106 has pretty decent hours and is open later than some of its competitors. The staff is also very friendly, and a pleasure to interact with.

I would definitely recommendend Pizza 106 to anyone in the area looking for great food...

Just ordered there daily 2 lrg deal , and I have to say it was a great pizza , not sloppy greecy , perfected crust , like finally some one figured out how to do this lol. Very happy with the service and the time it took for delivery. They told me up to forty minuts and sure enough 32 minuts later i was eating. I also notified the lady on the phone that i would like a call upon arrival due to having a new born baby in the house , she replied with" absolutely I have children of my own I will definitly make sure ". And again sure enough they called on arrival. Do you know how many time I called the pinger chains and I swear they do it on purpose ... RING RING on the old door bell. Great food Great staff and awsome overall experience with a food delivery order. Awsome...
