Read moreUsed to frequent this place as their food is pretty decent that I even recommended this restaurant to a Facebook group of must try places in Edmonton.
However, our most recent experience was so bad that I am debating if we should visit again. We came as a group of 7 on a Friday night at 9 pm, closing time is at 10 and the staff informed us that the last order must be taken at 9:30 and they ran out of noodles so our options are mostly rice and soup dishes. We were seated inside one of the rooms and given a menu, waited for someone to take our order but no one came that we had to call their attention by standing near the cash register. When someone finally served us tea we told them we are ready to order, she said okay I will come back, but she never did. We tried calling someone else’s attention but they just nodded their head and went serving other tables, tried again by waving to another wait staff but still no one came to take our order. In total we tried calling them 4 times, by this time we are all frustrated and the kids arw very hungry that we just stood up and started to leave. That got their attention and someone tried to stop us at the door when I explained the situation they only said oh sorry about that.
The most annoying thing was that the table next to us, a group of 4 that came just a little after us were served with drinks and food before we left while the rest of the wait...

Despite a brief wait on the waiting list, the anticipation only made me more excited to try their food.
Service: The service was excellent. Upon request, our group was provided with a complementary side of kimchi, even though it is not typically included with the dishes we ordered.
Taste: Jjambbong: it was one of the most flavorful bowls of noodles I have ever had in my life. It was savory, very spicy, yet had a depth of flavor that you wouldn't typically get from other restaurants. My only complaint is that the mussels were very small.
Tangsuyuk: the sweet and sour sauce showcased a delightful tangiess, complementing the fried and crispy pork. The portion size was notably generous, adding to the overall satisfaction.
Jjajangmyeon: rich and velvety, the black bean sauce enveloped each strand of noodles. Served with a side of crisp and sharp raw onions, it created a delightful contrast that cut through the thickness of the sauce.
In summary, this restaurant is a hidden gem in the city. Without a doubt, I'll be returning again soon. Highly...
