Ordered though Uber on Thursday October 10th at just before midnight to cash in on what we thought was an amazing Buy one get one free promotion. Now maybe the food is better when they can see your face while making your order, but we found out that the small Donair is a 7 inch pita but only 5 inches of cold toppings. I literally paid 3 dollars for "extra lettuce" and can count on one hand how many pieces of green are in here, and the Donair has less meat in it than the tacos served at taco time. My partner got 12" donairs which were equally disappointing but, in addition to the size of the food, both of his donairs were Cold. As sides we got the onion rings (which were great 100%) and Donair dunkers (which had been overwhelmingly overseasoned with pepper, I ate one and a half to see if the second was the same before throwing them out). I cannot believe we paid $90.99 before delivery fees and tip for this old cold meal of sadness. The meal was ordered at 10 to midnight and delivered by 12:23, even if the temperature of the food was 100% the drivers fault (maybe he had all the stapled and sealed bags on the bike rack) there's no reason my experience should be this disappointing.

Honestly, as far Whyte ave donairs go, this place is pretty underwhelming. For a $10 Donair, this was not great. The donair itself is small, with few items filling it up. I ordered the Wednesday donair of the day. The maple donair or something like that. It tasted like a donut. With a drink it came to around $14. For a mere 4 or 5 dollars more I could get a massive donair at Mike's just a block away. Going forward I will recommend people walk the extra block to mikes. Ignore the good reviews of the past. This place is sub-par. Walk the extra block and get something good.

At first I was turned off by the portion but after eating the Canadian Maple Poutine I’m good and full. Pricing is for the flavour as I enjoyed the flavour of the meal I got. Atmosphere 3 Stars… nothing amazing inside or out. Felt like something was missing. Girl who severed me was friendly and offered a bag to go. Might seem small but when we are in a day that you have to ask the Mc Donald’s and Tim Hortons for a napkin, this offer went along ways for me. See you again

What an amazing donair I had last night, so I should start by saying thank you! Thank you for making quality food that I wasn’t disappointed in.

I ordered the east coast donair and while the donair sauce isn’t 100% east coast style it’s pretty close and there’s nothing wrong with having your own spin on it. It was great. The meat was crispy which I genuinely loved it brings an awesome texture and a different flavour dynamic, maybe this should be an option on UberEats incase it’s not typically cooked crispy, I’d love the option to make sure it is everytime!

One thing I would change is maybe offering pickles as a topping. I love adding that to a donair so there’s some tang to cut through all the savoury flavours but the pickled turnip mostly did the trick so it’s not a big deal! One other thing is the pita wrap was cold so maybe it’s kept in a fridge. There’s the option to have it toasted so next time I’ll select that but the bread being bold resulted in it tasting cold, despite the meat and also the poutine being perfectly hot.

Other then these very minor personal preference type of things I’d give this place a full 5 stars and will absolutely be ordering again. BTW, it was picture perfect and I regret that I didn’t take a photo. Looked perfect and wasn’t messy....

I’ve been on the hunt for a keto-friendly spot, and I’m so glad I found prairie donair. It’s honestly my go-to on Whyte Avenue now. As someone who follows a keto diet, it’s so hard to find places that cater to it, but these guys have got keto-friendly donairs that are absolutely delicious. They also offer gluten-free options, which is a huge win for anyone with dietary restrictions.

The flavors here are bold and authentic, especially the sauces—they really stand out and elevate the whole meal. Everything tastes fresh, and the donairs never feel heavy or greasy, which I really appreciate. If you're looking for a healthy, tasty option, this is definitely the spot! Highly...
