I have been visiting PrimeTime frequently for years now, hopping between their different branches whenever I get the chance. But lately, something's been bothering me, I can't help but notice that prices kept increasing, and the portion sizes kept getting smaller. It used to be a treat to dine here, but now, with all these changes, it's hard not to feel a bit disappointed. I've read some responses from the owner to other reviews, inflation hits us all, but it's tough to understand why they'd raise prices while compromising the quality and portion sizes.
Edit to response from owner: From what I can tell, the "new" smaller sized options are priced the same as the previous regular prices AND now you charge an additional $0.25 per veggie topping. I would love to try this franchise again, maybe the 2 times I ate here with the new menu was just a fluke, but it's hard to justify eating here when other locations such as Top Donair and DB Donair and Poutine are close by and offer much better quality,...
Read moreRip off prices for food that's OK. Never have simple things like rice. Don't waste your time. THE RESPONSE BY THE MANAGEMENT IS WE HAVE A POLICY NOT TO WASTE RICE AS A MORAL OBLIGATION : HERE IS MY MORAL DIELMNA WITH YOUR COMMENTS:
Your food is overpriced. If you have a morale compass for customers and can't serve simple items such as Rice, close shop. I went to another Donair shop on 34th street and they happily accommodated me with bigger portions for cheaper. 3.You guys also shut off your grill 40 minutes prior. Is it also your morale obligation to save natural gas?
A sorry would have sufficed. I've had 4 to 5 bad experiences at your place. You've raised certain items 30 to 40 pierce over the last 2 years. Please don't bombard me with your pseudo moral issues when you can't satisfy basic moral principles!
Hope you take my comments constructive. The landscape is competitive, and I would have hoped that would have driven a better product at a better price facilitated by good...
Read moreWe use to love this location however the last 3 times we have went there the food has been awful. The last 2 times we were there they didn’t put any of the sautéed veggies I paid for Or banana peppers on our poutines and half a scoop of gravy isn’t even enough to melt the cheese on a poutine so it was DRY!! . Tonight is the last straw, the Quebecer poutine was DRY, have you ever been to Quebec? Cause they put enough gravy to cover the poutine and melt the gravy…. Prime time is to inconsistent! I watched them tonight each worker puts a different amount of gravy regardless if the order is the same, one person was using 2 scoops of gravy one girl was using 1 scoop of gravy and the other girl wasn’t even using a whole scoop! My donair poutine the meat is BURNT and I mean black and awful tasting, again no gravy to be seen on theirs my poutine either.cheese is completely unmelted….Burnt flecks of the pan all over my food making it bitter and not edible. 30$ down the drain for food. Pretty...
