We went in today, August 9, around 11:30 PM, and unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. The staff didn’t seem welcoming at all it felt like they were ready to close up, even though the store doesn’t close until 12 AM. The girl who took our order seemed disinterested and rushed. She kept saying wrong things, completely way far off from what I was ordering. I had to tell her 5x that I wasn’t getting a meal. I wasn’t even finished ordering when she interrupted to ask if we were paying by debit or credit.
I ordered 10 pieces of wings half soy garlic and half salt and pepper but was given all soy garlic. When I pointed out the mistake, the guy I talked to didn’t even apologize but just took the order back and didn’t say anything. I stood up there completely confused. We could hear the staff in the back complaining. We thought they were going to make a fresh batch, but we saw on the counter that the guy just put the soy and garlic chicken wings back into the fryer! That’s gross and disgusting.
When the girl finally gave me the corrected order, she seemed completely unbothered and offered an insincere apology. As we were leaving, we could still hear them complaining, which felt very disrespectful considering they were the ones who made the mistake.
Better training in customer service would go a long way. A simple, sincere apology and a more professional attitude would have made a big difference. It also felt very unsanitary to put wings with sauce back into the fryer after they had already been handed to a customer. You literally could still see the sauce on the re-fried wings. The customer service was disappointing, and the handling of the food was a clear violation of basic...
Read moreI thought a place that specializes in wings would have something special to offer especially at a premium pice, was I wrong. My wife and I were anxious to try the place and ordered the 40 piece wing platter with fries , thought we would have left overs. Boy were we wrong we both felt we could have got 7-11 or Esso wings that would have been better tasting and more food, I don’t know what market research was done to open this place so am guessing none. My best guess is that this place is like many other successful US restaurants they think they can bring the name in Canada but give schlock for food and expects to be successful, I never write a review as negative as this unless it’s deserving but in this case it is as I don’t appreciate getting ripped off and taken advantage of, this place is that bad. Food is edible but at a price of $35 before drinks per person take out and not satisfied. The large French fries with the combo platter for multiple people (sold seperately on menu at $13.95)was smaller than a lot of burger places fries included with a meal for one. Nothing special, don’t even have a straight up hot wing option. I recommend KFC value meal over this $70...
Read moreFirst time going there last night, it honestly was "MID!". My first issue is the price's are a bit on the higher side for tiny wing's. One of the male employee's kept eye balling me, don't know why, probably cause I had to type with my phone, as I got Speech Disorder, or maybe I was a potential "threat" to them, as I had some drink's that same early morning, but I meant no harm. Anyway continue, the only redeemable thing's were the cherry coke, free wifi, and the seating I guess, the wing's tasted a bit off, kinda tasted chewy, and possibly undercooked, I felt sick, as I had to go use the rest room at the Superstore nearby afterward's, it just went right through me. The salt & pepper frie's were a bit on the oily side too, the creamy parmesan sauce I had gotten with the wing's, is just okay. I may go there again, but it's a hard maybe, Hooter's Edmonton was honestly better, but they shutdown during...
