Starbucks — Restaurant in Edmonton

Horrible service from smart mouthed teenagers who work there. I found the service in the Safeway itself is pretty bad. Most of the staff do not seem very happy and that is a direct reflection of management. The kids who helped me at the Starbucks were rude after I took back a watery Frappaccino . He seemed quite disturbed and proceeded to make it again exactly the same way hence another watery Frapp. He wouldn't even hand it to me and left it on the other side of where I was standing. I said "Hello, I'm still standing over here" and he commented in a pissy attitude that he had to leave it on the shelf. I walked over to get it and again he made it to the consistency of chocolate milk. Nothing but attitude and smart mouthed comments. He mouthed off to me under his breath but of course loud enough for me to hear him. If this was just a one off from one rude employee then I would have left it alone but considering that 95% of the staff I dealt with were somewhat unhappy and acted like they didn't want to be there then I feel compelled to complain. I did speak with the manager and he apologized to me but beyond the lip service I felt he didn't care about this rude service at all. Considering you pay about 30% more in a Safeway versus a Cheaper grocery store I expect better service. I left the store with no frappaccino, a handful of groceries, and feeling like a got a slap in my face for spending money...

Came in to store at 11am on my way to work to grab a QUICK iced matcha green tea latte w/coconut milk which only requires you to mix everything together, no steaming milk involved. One girl who seemed very nervous was at the till and she was having issues with the till. When the girl was done figuring out what was going on she decides to help a woman behind me who wants drinks for her whole family. 😒 Mid way through this another girl with blonde hair and pigtails shows up and I say "excuse me miss I just wanted to make sure my drink gets made first so I am not late for work". The blond girl yells back at me "I know, I know, I have to move the cups down and I have to move them down to make your order". I found this incredibly rude as my tone was not cruel or rude. Anyways I agree with the other negative reviews below, however there is another girl who works here too that is awesome, although next time I am in a hurry I won't be...

I often visit this Starbucks located inside Safeway with my daughter after school. Unfortunately, the atmosphere is lacking, and it feels more like a quick stop than a cozy café. ☕️

While the staff has generally been friendly, I've experienced frequent mix-ups with our orders. For example, my daughter ordered a latte and received an iced drink instead. 😩 Additionally, when I asked for a small flat white, I was given a large! It seems like there’s a lack of training and attention to detail among the staff.

I believe they could benefit from better training to ensure orders are taken correctly and to improve customer service. I hope they can address these issues for a better experience in the future! 🌟

Just went there again and was served by Victor and he totally redeemed himself and the location for at least a three star if I see that other girl working in there...
