Subway — Restaurant in Edmonton

The worst subway I’ve ever been to. This was about a year ago and it was bugging me so I decided to write a review. The lady that worked there (she probably still does given the track record of some of these stores) was the rudest person I’ve ever interacted with. I ordered and payed and asked for a cup of water, not a cup to fill at the machine, I was perfectly fine with them handing me a cup of water that they filled so they knew I wasn’t stealing from the pop/water machine. And this lady looked at me, looked at the stacks of cups, and told me “we don’t have any cups” I didn’t want to be there any longer than I had to so I just said back “k I’ll take a bottle then” and as she was ringing me up the man from behind her asked me if I had a waterbottle and said I could fill it up using the Soda machine for free, I didn’t ask for this initially since I know most businesses wouldn’t let you without buying a drink which is fair but he was very nice and saved me $4 after his coworker was...

The workers are extremely rude, and the prices are absolutely abysmal - forget the quality of the food.

Wilted lettuce (when there is lettuce — which is rare) and clearly old meat. The workers will cut the bread unevenly and give you the smaller half — and there’s measurements for the meat so you don’t even get a scoop on one side of the sandwich. This place was mediocre before, but today i couldn’t even bring myself to finish the disgusting ‘sandwich’ i paid $20 for.

How are you as a sandwich store not going to have lettuce or cheese ? and still charge the same price for when you do have them ? How are your cookies so hard ? Soda machine so utterly disgusting?

Seriously this whole business is a joke. Subway stands as a shining testament to corporate greed and the complete and utter degradation of Canadian businesses.

If you don’t have lunch you’re probably better off starving than giving your money...

I recently visited this Subway location, and I was blown away by the exceptional service. From the moment I walked in, the employees were incredibly welcoming and accommodating. They took the time to listen to my preferences, offering helpful suggestions and ensuring my order was made exactly how I wanted it.

Despite a busy atmosphere, the staff remained friendly and efficient, making sure every customer was taken care of promptly. They even went the extra mile by accommodating special requests without hesitation, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The restaurant itself was clean and well-maintained, creating a comfortable dining environment.

It’s rare to find such genuine hospitality in fast food, and this Subway team truly exceeded expectations. I’ll definitely be returning and recommending this...
