Because it's spring and not many students are on campus, they don't have much ready--even during the lunch hour, which is curious. Even with no one in line ahead of you, you're told you'll have to wait anywhere from 4 to 8 minutes. Yikes. That's not fast food.

I guess the upside is that your food is fresh, not sitting around. (The food is quite good.) But if you're in any kind of a hurry, forget it. Beyond Meat burgers taking almost 10 minutes? You're killing me. I guess you can order online in advance as you're walking there.

There are a few other food options in Hub Mall, although not as many as there used to be, sadly. Still, there are other options on campus. You can go to Marco's Famous in SUB, if you want a burger.

Here's a thought experiment: What if there were a McDonald's on campus? Can you imagine how busy (and fast!) it would be--at any time of year? I'd probably go out of my way for that. Oh well, we...

I witnessed an awful incident today between a worker and who I learnt is unfortunately the owner of this A&W. If you read other reviews, there is mention of a skinny Asian lady who is very hostile. This woman is the OWNER! She got angry at this poor girl who was just trying to help a customer with a gift card, and then took the girl to the back to SCREAM at her. You could hear it through the walls. Awful. I called the store, since at the time, I thought this was an angry supervisor, and I got to speak to the girl who got treated so poorly. Hopefully I was able to cheer her up a bit and turn her day around. I’ve never seen behaviour like this in front of customers that was so incredibly vile. I loved coming here as the staff is so sweet, however, there is one employee who is very disrespectful. Not only to myself, but to most customers. She is very hot tempered and whenever we vocalize an issue regarding our order POLITELY, she becomes very hostile. The other staff members are so friendly and quick to resolve an issue. The last few days that I have been ordering coffee from here, she never fills it up. I once asked her kindly if she could please fill up my coffee, so she aggressively poured the coffee into my cup which then spilled onto the counter and left a mess. This was dangerous and could have led to an injury. This is not safe and most definitely NOT okay. Very concerning and I hope management does...
