Wild Wing — Restaurant in Edmonton

I really don't like giving less than a 3 to any business as I know things are circumstancial but I was really unimpressed tonight. There was one waitress, a bartender, a cook, and someone who may have been a manager helping the waitress for 15-20 people. The waitress was definately not feeling her shift and was about a 5 on customer service out of 10. Which also didnt bother me because everyone has those days.

But then I waited 20 minutes for a drink that the waitress had confirmed 3 times with me and the manager confirmed once. My drink came with so much ice I could barely stir it and could taste the vodka too much to enjoy it. Forced it down to avoid wasting more money.

Our drinks were on sale and were billed full price. They fixed this but instead of the waitress coming back with the bill, someone else did. There was trivia and the trivia girl kept talking to us about trivia after we said we didnt want to play. She was nice. Just awkward when we said we werent interested and she kept going on haha.

The fries were dry. The onion rings were greasy and I had to wipe my face down after eating them.(but still flavorful) The boneless wings were good but the flavor I chose was a little heavy for the amount of wings u get with it. I tried dipping my fries in the sauce to take some off the wings but still couldnt finish either. There was no wing Wednesday sale at a WING place. (My own fault as I should have checked)

I could have got a drink and wings at a brewhouse for 12$ and enjoyed it instead if paying 60$ for 2 drinks and 2 orders of wings. I wanted to try something new but I will definately not visit or recommend a wild...

Where do I start? I was recently at this location with my family for dinner, and I arrived a few minutes late. When I walked in, I asked my family if they had already ordered, and they said no; the waitress had given them menus but had not asked if they would like anything to drink and that they were too busy "dancing behind the bar" talking to a couple of other customers.

At this point, around 5 or so minutes had gone by, and there was still no service. The only people dining in were the other people by the bar, my two family members, and myself. We finally had to wave down our server to get some service. They came by and asked what we wanted to drink and if we were ready to order. We said yes, and then they said, Hold on, I need to get a pen and paper. They ran away quickly, came back, and took our orders. I asked if I could have a side dill dip, and so did one of my family members; they took our orders and left. They came back 5–10 minutes later with the drinks and then some plates.

At this point, there are still only two groups of people dining in, which is not busy by any means. We waited around 30 to 40 minutes before our food finally arrived. I realize that one of the dips is ranch instead of dill, and I ask the server if they could just swap it out. They say no problem and leave again. I never did end up getting that dip since the server only came to check on our table once we were finished eating. I'm fairly certain that I also received the wrong wings, but at that point, I was too hungry to wait for the correct ones.

Honestly, the wings are a 5 star for sure. I should almost just make two separate reviews. 5 for the wings. 0 for the service.

I came here about a week ago during the day. There was only one other group sitting at a table. The waitress was sitting at the bar and didnt notice us come in and sit down for about 5 minutes. I thought that maybe we had to order at the bar. Then she came to us and was friendly and attentive.

Came back yesterday, a few days later, because I was craving the "Chiquita in Paradise". The waitress we had was the worst I have ever experienced. She was extremely quiet, she barely made any eye contact with us and even rolled her eyes when one of us took a few extra seconds to choose a wing flavour.

We asked for unbreaded, they came breaded but were still super tasty. Once we were paying, she again she stared off, paid no attention as one of us sat there holding the debit machine in the air waiting for her. She looked like she hated her job, hated her life, and hated us at the table. It was very uncomfortable every time she came to the table. Maybe she was having a bad day? Who know. We chose not to stay for extra drinks. The ceasars are actually pretty good also.

I honestly hate complaining about anything and normally if I have a bad experience somewhere I just won't leave a review at all.

Again, wings are AMAZING, I will continue to eat them. However, I would just order them on skip the dishes or...
