This eatery has an eclectic menu of Canadian and Indian brunch food. So far I’ve tried plenty of the Indian food, and it always hits the spot. Nothing too fancy, but just excellent comfort food. Good value for money. Most of the entrees are $11-16 and pretty substantial. I like that the Indian section of the menu has so many breakfast dishes that most Indian lunch/dinner restaurants don’t serve. I am curious to try the Canadian menu too. The Indian (elaichi) chai is great. The other tea lattes are okay. At one point they had fruit smoothies (not sure if they’re still on the menu, but I didn’t like those as much, they tasted more like juice slushies and not like natural fruit. The atmosphere is totally bare-bones, it’s not sketchy or anything, there’s just absolutely no ambiance to speak of. The staff is usually nice enough though, and they hustle. It’s not a hip brunch place, but a great place for some no-fuss good eats.

Your review is already great! I’ve just made a few small tweaks for smoother flow and readability: Had an amazing experience here! Only U Cafe is clean and well-maintained, with bright colors and an inviting interior that makes the space feel warm and welcoming. The staff are incredibly friendly and attentive, always there when you need them. We couldn’t decide between brunch or Indian food, and this was the perfect place for both! The food was beyond our expectations - they offer a large selection of beverages and dishes, with generous portions at a great value. What really surprised me was how well they execute both Western and Indian cuisines. Whether you’re craving classic eggs bennys or a flavorful Indian specialty, they do both exceptionally well. Highly recommend for anyone looking for quality food around UBC Village!

Ratings Scale 0 - 10 Variety: 8 Service or Product: 7 Customer Service: 6 Environment: 6 Cleaning: 6 Washroom: 6 Cost: 4 While the food itself was decent, 2 factors made me give this page a 2 star rating: Price: its too expensive! For a simple 2 person breakfast with tea, it cost us $42!! Service: The service from the waitress and counter person were fine but another rude guy ruined the experience. I simply wanted to know ingredients of the cheese they use for my dietary restrictions. Instead of listening to me properly and guiding me he said he doesn't know. I asked if I could see the packaging and he said he threw the packaging out and then proceeded to leave without listening further. Pathetic. Will never visit again even though the food was decent.

Prepare your taste buds for a symphony of flavors at Only U Cafe! This place is a gastronomic wonderland where every bite feels like a magic trick your taste buds will thank you for.

Let's kick things off with the Pav Bhaaji, a masterpiece that's a celebration of fresh, crisp veggies and bread so divine, it's practically a work of art. Each bite is like a chorus of flavors in perfect harmony, leaving you wondering if you've just tasted a slice of culinary heaven.

And then there's the Aaloo Paratha, a dish so splendid it could bring a tear to your eye. It's the epitome of paratha perfection, with a crisp crust embracing a filling that strikes the right balance of crunch and flavour. Every bite feels like a warm hug from Grandma, but with a modern twist that'll have you begging for more. It's as if the culinary wizards at Only U Cafe have discovered the secret to making parathas sing and dance with pure, unadulterated delight.

Now, let's talk about the Rajma Chawal. These little bites of joy are like a party in your mouth, each one delivering an explosion of spices that's downright addictive.

And then there's Mr. Chang, the maestro behind this culinary symphony. His passion for creating edible masterpieces is palpable, and his love for making you feel at home is great!.

In conclusion, Only U Cafe is more than just a restaurant; it's a journey of pure culinary delight. Whether you're savoring the Pav Bhaaji, indulging in the Aaloo Paratha, or reveling in the Rajma Chawal extravaganza, you're in for a treat that'll leave you grinning from ear to ear.
