Pizza Garden (UBC) — Restaurant in Electoral Area A

I've ordered from this place several times before and never had an issue. Today, I ordered two XL pizzas. When I opened the box, I found out that one of the pizzas I had ordered had an error. They delivered the wrong pizza. I called them right away but this guy just argued with me that I got what I ordered. Telling him several times that I have an order summary email didn't help. He then asked me to call the website support page because it's a problem with the website and they can't do anything about it. When I asked to speak with a manager, he said - "I'm the manager, and there's nothing else I can do for you". When I told him I have an email with the order summary, detailed the specific toppings I've ordered and the different price, he hung up. I called back, the other guy answered the phone, simply told me to call the website support number and started arguing and yelling at me. Eventually he told me to never order from them again and hung up. Not only that this time the Pesto Chicken pizza was really bad (very fatty and low quality chicken and chewy dried tomatoes), I got the crappiest customer service ever. Understanding this is a franchise, I really hope this branch owner or the chain manager will see this review and really pay these two fellows what they deserve. I'm definitely not going to order anything from this...

I'm an avid enthusiast of the pizza's from Pizza Garden. The crust is very well-prepared and delicious. With that being said, my wife and I used to go to this branch frequently. About 6 months ago, I had a very bad experience with someone over there who I think was the owner or probably a relative of the owner. I asked about the ingredients from him and he got upset when I asked for more details since I genuinely didn't know what "Prosciutto Cotto" is. With a sarcastic look, he talked with the cook in another language and laughed at me! As a costumer, I was offended and would not go to this location or order anything from them for foreseeable future. This was the first time I encountered such a rude behavior from the staff over there during the past 4 years but it stuck with me. With many other options available close by, I'd recommend people to avoid this place. The quality has been diminished too... Uncle Fatih's pizza is one option at UBC with very nice staff, just...

I am a big fan of Pizza Garden and I usually buy from the Metrotown location. I recently tried the Capicola pizza at the UBC location and I was surprised to notice a big difference between this one and the one I buy from Pizza Garden Metrotown - the pizza tasted dry and was whitish compared to the one I'm used to and even to the one on their menu photo (too bad I didn't take a photo). Even the meat looked differently. On a positive note, the crust was tasty. Too bad there is no guarantee to find the same pizza quality/taste in all Pizza Garden stores. Given my experience, I definitely won't...
