Rogers' Chocolates — Restaurant in Electoral Area A

The service here today was absolutely unacceptable. The employee serving us was wearing AirPods and on a phone call the entire time while taking our order. She got it completely wrong, giving us ice cream in a cup instead of a cone, and when we asked her to correct it, she refused and insisted we had asked for a cup—when we clearly hadn’t. I don’t know why she was arguing with a customer’s order.

The store was completely empty, so there was no excuse for the lack of attention or refusal to fix a simple mistake. Instead of focusing on customers, she stayed on her phone the whole time and barely acknowledged us. Extremely unprofessional.

I come here often to buy gifts for people for my club on campus. The chocolates seem to be high quality and are sold for a fair price. The woman that usually works there is very kind. UBC students also get a 10% discount which is very nice. Some (maybe all) chocolates are fair-trade and made in Victoria, BC.
