I totally understand a restaurant being busy and having to deal with the rush short staffed. Especially since we were a table of ten. But service was beyond bad. After we were seated we waited to be acknowledged. Our waiter finally swung by to say he will be back. We waited some more. Nobody came to help him. Usually a hostess would at the very least bring a table some water. So when he finally came back he just wanted to take our drink order. We told him we wanted to order everything. After that we waited some more to get our drinks. I stopped the waiter and asked when the drinks were coming. Told him that the people across from me were very thirsty. So instead of coming back with all our drinks he brought back 3 waters. The rest of us waited some more. When we finally got the rest of our drink order we were missing drinks and our hot water for our teas was cold. When we got our food my sister had to wait for hers because it wasn't ready. When it came it was wrong. Most of our food was cold but we ate it anyways. Didn't want to wait longer. The kicker had to be when my cousin looked at his toast and it had MOLD on it. Like seriously! Someone toasted and buttered this bread. Called waiter over and he took it back and replaced it. He didn't even apologize. All he said was I will tell the kitchen. Went to speak to the manager and she said that she wasn't informed about the mold. She was going to take the meal off. When we looked at the table the waiter was there and the bill was paid already. Slow service the whole time until it was time to pay the bill. He was quick as a bunny. They did give us a 50% discount on that particular meal. Yes, the server did still get a good tip. Read moreThe most horrible experience in my entire life. My husband and I came here today morning for a morning breakfast together to spend some time after our session at the gym. We both own businesses and have very busy schedules so we needed something delicious yet great service. We saw that this place has 4.5 stars and came here!
We sat down and ordered immediately. 30 minutes later, our food has not arrived. We try to locate Staff in between, Nobody came to our table. Nobody came to check on us. Other people who arrived later than us got their food first. We gave some grace as we thought they might be backed up in the kitchen or busy. I walked to the front desk as nobody would even come close to our table to inquire about our order as we were running so behind. The manger/owner then told me our order was never put through they will work on it now .. We sat there for now 40 minutes with no updates. I would at least appreciate the courtesy of letting us know that our food was not put in etc. we were already behind time now having to wait again for food to be made. The waitress and manager/owner was trying to tell me different things in different ways..When the truth would have been appreciated and professional. The waitress also stated ‘ I already told you I didn’t put it in What else should I do?’ In the rudest, most condescending way.
We were not given our food or any solutions so hubby and I decided to leave. I would not recommend anybody dining here or giving service to this establishment. Besides being a paying customer, we were not the treated respectfully or professionally. I would definitely refrain from bringing out of town guests here or family gatherings. Read moreThis is an update of my previous review. You will see from their answer to my previous review that they offered me to come back to make it right, so I came back: Four years later. The first time that I came back, it was a night, so again the restaurant was almost empty and the comparison would be fair. However, Jessica was extraordinarily kind, warm, efficient, and the food was excellent. I have been at this particular location several times, some times during the busy Sunday mornings, and sometimes at night. Different servers have always been very good hosts. I am very happy to say that they exceeded my expectations, and I hope they will exceed yours.
Terrible service. Every time I asked for something to the server, she was lightning fast to bring it to me. However, it was extremely difficult to have her attention, although at that time there were only three busy tables on that side of the restaurant. I had to wait more than 10 minutes to have her attention, just to ask for strawberry jam. Also, not the regular courtesy that I expect from Denny's. The server was particularly cold. Efficient but cold. I have to say that the server was extremely busy. Could it be that they are short on servers? Could it be that the server was uncomfortable with the amount of work?
The host came to my table asking if I needed something. I asked for a cup of hot water. Never arrived.
I asked for the ultimate omelet, and I was very disappointed. The ingredients were great, fresh, excellent quality but not tasty.
Why did I go to that restaurant? Because it is Denny's. Why I am not coming back? Because of the service.
It was only my experience, maybe you could have a better one.
