Wok N' Go — Restaurant in Fort Saskatchewan

Been going here at least once a month since they opened quite a few years back. In the past year or so while the prices went up, quality went down.

Today, I went in and paid cash as I have in the past. This time, the young lady at the front obviously didn't know how to count cash nor give change. When my change was clearly 1 dollar, they gave me less change back. I pointed the error out as I was clear as I past my payment to them by declaring my amount, and handing in an easy to count manner. After a short discussion, they insisted. So I gave them the remainder of my change and declared they can keep it. 75 cents extra from me on top of the quarter they took is what I paid for my last meal there. If short changing everyone a quarter matters to them..... they got it. There are far better places that deserve my money in Fort...

We went once and the food was Really good.

So today I ordered ahead and planned to pick it up.

They answered the phone before their opening time and kindly took my order.

Said it would be ready at 4:15 which is 15 min after the open.

No problem for me so I showed up at the time they said it would be ready.

Paid for my order then realized they were working onn3 other orders ahead of mine even tho they had my order 1 hour before they even opened.

I looked around and saw how filthy the restaurant was and realized the disorganization as well was an issue.

Got a refund and the server apologized.

I told her " not your fault I just think they need to better organize themselves and clean...

I don't normally give reviews but I'm making an exception for this one. It was going to be bad one at first but the people and the food were great. I had ordered on Skip and expected the usual 25 to 40 minute wait except it went way way longer. Suspecting that Skip screwed up, I tried to call the restaurant, no answer, so I decided to drive there. I discovered they were short-handed, swamped and that Skip had just left with my order. They apologized profusely and offered refund and free food next time. I won't be looking for a refund the food was hot, fresh and tasty. I hope they can keep enough staff so it will be quicker next time. I can appreciate the challenge that staff not showing...
