In one word.... AMAZING! I've eaten sushi at a ton of different establishments, including many along the coastline with fresh fish - and can't remember rolls EVER tasting as good as the FSJ rolls!! The beef plate I had was equally amazing with a TON of aged beef, amazing sauce, fresh cooked but still crispy veggies, and fresh rice served separately in a small bowl to keep it hot (brilliant). Cozy little dine-in with super friendly and attentive staff. I ordered my meal, ate it, paid and was out the door in under an hour at a very busy time. Cash vs food value is five stars! My only complaint is I found this gem on my last day here 😕

Walked in for a quick bite, while my Landry was drying across the street. The lady at the counter was very polite and sat me quickly. I ordered the Tokyo roll, It was at my table very quick which was good because I was very hungry. I notice the music was too loud and the walls could use a good scrub. They have a TV with sports playing and they serve beer 5.50 for domestic. Overall I really enjoyed my stay.

Bibimbap served in a hot bowl sounds awesome, right? However, rice actually hardened big time, almost as if eating raw rice. Without the sauce that came with the dish, it would have been super bland, sadly. Was really looking forward to it. Service was friendly but very slow - place wasn't packed, but they were busy with skip the dishes orders. Fried rice was good but curry was just okay.

Some of the food here is amazing, but they fall short by having such a big menu- making it hard to deliver the same quality to every dish.

The food here is awesome. One of the top places in Fort St John. The flavour and quality of ingredients used is to a high standard. Examples being, K-Gyoza, Calamari, Pad Thai, Short Rib, Chicken Appys.

But, a good portion of the menu is littered with average and frankly, below average dishes. This leads to disappointment when you taste these 10/10 dishes, then you order something different the next time and it's not even a 7/10, it's a 4/10. The menu covers such a wide variety of foods that it's impossible to apply the same attention to detail for every cuisine and variety.

Overall an amazing place with shockingly good Appys and mains, but be careful, as the huge menu results in certain dishes being unable to receive the love...

My hubby and I love eating here or ordering out. The food is always hot and stays hot the whole time you're dining in. I am always filled and tend to have leftovers for the next day. Our last visit the restaurant was quite busy, and with only 1 waitress, it was hard to get my drinks refilled, and tables weren't being cleaned off for other people to come in and sit down. A few people sat down and then left 10 mins later cause they hadn't even been acknowledged or given menus. I know she was ran off her feet and super busy, but maybe another staff member could have came out of the back to at least do a quick table clean up or handed some menus out. Other than that experience, we are always happy to order at...
