It's been a while since I have been to a restaurant this bad. We were travelling back to Prince George from Fort Nelson. We decided to grab lunch here, since it was rated 4.3. First of, as we entered the restaurant we waited at the front desk for a while. Since no one came, we helped ourselves to the table. No big deal, while we waited for someone to come and give us the menu, we decided to use the washroom. It was not kept clean and there was food in the toilet bowl. We finally got the menue and we ordered Paneer Chili, Veg Biryani, raita and salted lassi. Within 2 minutes we were served with the wrong lassi, we let them know that they got the order wrong. After good 25 to 30 minutes we got the food on the table. And another 10 minutes for the Salt Lassi to arrive. Paneer Chili : the paneer wasn't cooked and was hard, the gravy was not indo chinese style. It was hardly edible. Veg Biriyani : it seemed freshly made, though cauliflower was over cooked, had corn in it (which I have never seen before) and overall it was ok. Raita: we got a very small quantity of it, not at all enough for a full plate of Biriyani. We had to order it again, and got the same small plastic cup. Salt Lassi: had little to no salt, looked like they had just added water to raita and given it to us in a glass.

The washroom was steps away from the table, with the doors open. We could hear the flush noise. They also started to clean, draging a dirty cleaning cart next to us, while we were eating. This made us highly uncomfortable to eat, of what we could!

Also, we were given two sets of a Spoon, fork and a butter knife. Which left us with no serving spoons. We couldn't request for more since NO ONE WAS AVAILABLE TO ASK.

The service was one of the worst seen, no one was interested and wouldn't even look at our faces. We didn't feel comfortable to ask for anything since they were so uninterested and they...

I had ordered two butter chickens with two sides of rice and two sides of naan bread. The rice is not delivered so I called the guy and he told me that, even though on a receipt, it said they both had a side of rice that there was never any and then when I tried to talk to him about it, asking him what we can do he hung up on me, not a very respectable business and very poor service. I would not recommend ordering from here because they do not care about customers, and they choose to hang up phone first time ordering and last. Now about the food, the butter chicken isn’t all bad, but they do not put garlic on their Nanan bread even though they listed us garlic overall, the food does not bother me, but the customer service was Horrible. All of the bad reviews are very true complaining about the service. Hopefully something will be done about the rude employees they have. If you notice all of that “five star reviews” have been by accounts that have only made one review seems pretty fishy to me.

Edit: first off you deny everything, then lie? Get a life it’s sad your business is run like this. We were charged for it, so thanks for the not only lies, and true show...

They have zero customer service. There employees do not know how to talk to their customers. We did take out today and my food was packaged poorly. When I got home, the curry(Achari Chicken) was half in the container and rest all the gravy was in the bag. I ordered paneer tikka as well, which was covered with chicken gravy, so obviously I couldn’t have it as I don’t eat chicken. And I when I called them, they were not sorry at all. The lady who spoke to me did not even say sorry once. And they were thinking that I am looking for free food. At first, she said that she gonna replace it and then they called me back and there owner or manager spoke to me saying that they can’t and was faulting me that I did not handle my food with care. Seriously bro, I work in food industry as well, I know the hard-work and the work being done, I don’t want free food from you guys. But you should definitely learn how to speak to your customers and how to deal when you get any complaints. They dealt with total idiocy. I am definitely never going back. Congratulations!! Great buffet, friendly people. Need gulab jamun tho. Dessert needs to be more authentic, again, like gulab jamun 😉 You know what, no need other food, please just have the restaurant for gulab jamun only 😁 The only Indian restaurant in FSJ that worth it, price wise, portion wise - well buffet, as you can help yourself. More variety of Indian food would be nicer! Not always easy to find parking on the street tho. The seating inside is generic.

I'm curious as to who gave a 5 star rating. Is this a place where you can eat? The local restaurants in India are much superior to this. The cooking appears to be happening on an open wall. Cooking smell, smoke, and bad customer service by the lady. It's amazing that even small cities can have good restaurants compared to this.
