I don't even know where to begin with this review. I hate leaving reviews like this one but I think it's just fair so people know what to expect. In the past few years all FSJ Tim Horton's changed..and not in a good way! I used to love visiting Tim's but I think I'm better off going to McDonalds or Starbucks for a coffee. This Tim's is getting EVERY SINGLE order wrong! I'll just mention my experience for the last 2 visits there. I ordered a Farmers Biscuit (Biscuit with Egg(i ordered without egg)Hashbrown, Sausage and sauce), and a wrap for my child. When I received my order I thought I better check if they gave me what I paid for , since I had bad experiences in the past...so I opened the bag in front of them and as soon as I took the biscuit out I already felt that it was the wrong one! They had just given me a plain biscuit. I handed it back to the Lady and told her that was not what I ordered. She apologized and I waited a few minutes for them to fix the mistake. I then left and when I gave my child the wrap I noticed there was no sauce on it. The lady who took my order specifically asked me if I wanted ranch, to which I said yes please! At my last visit I ordered a coffee and only noticed later that they had given me a black coffeeđ€. My question is 'where is the problem?? Is the person taking the order doing it wrong or the kitchen Staff lazy?? If you don't speak or understand English then PLEASE don't take orders because it will just frustrate people. I am not racist nor do I have anything against non citizens working there. But I find it very frustrating when the 'mistakes' happen over and over again! Also, it is very very rude and disrespectful when you speak a different language in front of customers who cannot understand what you are saying. You guys should really start respecting...
Read moreIâve always considered Tim Hortons one of my favorite places, but unfortunately, Iâve had a few disappointing experiences recently that I feel need to be addressed. Today, I ordered a Mocha Iced Capp, but it didnât taste like mocha at allâit had no sweetness and no distinct mocha flavor. When I mentioned this, the staff replaced it and added more chocolate syrup. Iâm not sure why chocolate syrup was used as a substitute for mocha, as the two are not the same in flavor profile. I also asked for a donut and was told it wasnât available. I accepted that and then asked for a latte, only to be told the machine wasnât working. I then requested a Double Chocolate Donut, and again, they said it wasnât available. At that point, I couldnât help but wonder what was available just Double Doubles? To add to this, a while ago I visited Tim Hortons around 11 PM to order a medium latte. The staff member repeatedly asked âWhat?â in response to my order, as if it was difficult to understand. I was speaking clearly and using simple English, but still felt dismissed and frustrated.I believe customer service is a critical part of the Tim Hortons experience, and these incidents have made me reconsider my visits. I sincerely hope the management takes steps to improve staff trainingâespecially in communication, product knowledge, and customer handling. Tim Hortons has always been a comforting and reliable place for many Canadians, and I would love to see it maintain that...
Read moreI picked my mother up from out of town, went to Tim Hortons near our RCMP office. My mom placed her order, the employee was not paying attention to my mom placing her order, I ordered my order. I get our order and my mother's was not correct. I went to the employee and told her what it should have been and the employee said to me "u people are hard to understand" ok I'm Caucasian, she was African , I says pardon me, we're u just discriminatory towards me? She says pardon me, I repeated back what the young lady said, I said if I said that to u, u would say your discrimination ...she says I don't understand, I said listen what u just said to me was discriminatory against Caucasian...what is your name please, she refused to give it. All the staff working today heard our conversation, this was at 11am, 100st location, and the owner had just left the location prior to. The young lady was rude and very unprofessional, then she charged my mother for the right order. Maybe Tim Hortons should make sure there employee can understand number 1, listen to your customers, if it wasn't for customers they wouldn't have there job, number 2 DO NOT ever discriminate. In all my 50 years never has anyone EVER spoken to me that way. How embarrassing to have my mom in from out of town and have that type of behavior by an...
