Cora — Restaurant in Gatineau

This was very unfortunate visit. It took forever for even to get seated, even though there were many tables open. The waiter brought water for tea, but no tea bags and by the time he actually brought the teabags the water was cold. The meal when it arrived had only the potatoes hot. I repeatedly tried to get the waiters attention and was ignored When he kindly came with the bill. He asked me if I wanted to pack up my food and take it with me and I informed it arrived cold and he told me that I should’ve told him. He then brought the bill and offered to make us a to go meal. No offer to discount the bill. This is the first time here, but I normally like Cora’s. I don’t know if it was the waiter or the kitchen as he was so disorganized but being as the potatoes were completely hot and everything else was cold, I’m assuming it was...

Received the worst service ever at this place from a server named Renaud. We waited 45 minutes for our breakfast. We noticed that our plates were on the kitchen shelf for about 10 minutes. We first asked him politely the reason for the delay. He said it was not his fault. I then told him our plates were on the shelf for 10 minutes. He asked me if I wanted to do his job! He then asked me arrogantly if I wanted to talk to his manager! I told him just do your job and make sure the food is not cold or else it will be returned. He then told me to go in the kitchen and serve myself!!! We decided to leave the place. Believe it or not, he then followed us outside to wish us a good day!!! The manager came outside and told him to go back in. She then offered us the food to take out but the damage was done. Never again will I go...

I went there for breakfast with the family around 10 am. The place was fairly busy. It took about 20-25 minutes to get our food which is fine. We had to ask for utensils and syrup. My daughter's pancake barely had any fruits on it and my fruit crêpe was 90% big chunks of pineapples and melons.

I understand if you run out of fruits but maybe let customers know so they can choose to order something else. The prices are high enough that you can't really get away with serving 2$ worth of food. After a 20+ minutes wait, there was no way I was sending it back.

The cashier asked me if I enjoyed my meal and I told her no and the reasons why. She sympathized with me which is great but not very helpful.
