I have ordered from this restaurant before, off of UberEats, and the food was good. However, today when I ordered the exact same thing again, I was a little disappointed.

I always order the peanut butter soup, with some alloco (plantain) and the fufu. The soup was good, the alloco, slightly stale and inconsistent in texture, but still good. The disappointment was in the fufu.

They sent me some burnt fufu, and wrapped it up to make it seem as if it was all fine on the outside. The fufu dish itself is supposed to be white or off-white in colour. If you look at the pictures below, you can see the burnt and overcooked flakes as if it has been scraped off a pan, and the brown/olive colour.

Pretty disappointed because for paying around 40$, every guest deserves to receive quality check food upon...

I have to say, this place has truly set the bar for takeout! One evening, I was absolutely starving and decided to check out this spot that people I know had been raving about. Let me tell you, they did not disappoint! The chicken was incredibly fresh, bursting with flavor.

As soon as I walked in, a lovely lady welcomed me with a warm smile, and her passion for food was evident within the interaction. If you're on the hunt for the perfect takeout that will hit the spot, look no further—this is the place to be! Honestly, if I could give more than 5 stars ✨, I totally would. I'm new to the area so I decided to try this place out.

The fufu I ordered was gross, sticky, runny and the portion was very small. The soup was okay though. Not worth the money re-ordering for what I got.

The receptionist had poor communication and listening skills. I had to keep repeating myself because she refused to listen to what I had to say when it came to asking about the menu (I have severe food allergies). Finally after repeating myself for the 5th time instead of talking over me she finally understood. It was honestly crazy. Definitely not...
