Give this place a solid pass. After trying to get any of the servers’ attention for over for 15 minutes after we had sat down, we were greeted with a hefty dose of attitude. She said she wasn’t our server but reluctantly took my partner’s drink order and then walked away. I asked if I could order too, she turned around, rolled her eyes and asked what I wanted. Our server finally arrived only to confirm the order we originally placed with the other server. She also informed us it would be a 30-40 minute wait for food. We placed our orders immediately to get the process started. After a long wait our beer and wine finally arrived. We asked for some water. One glass of water arrived for the both of us. 30 minutes later the food arrived. The chicken breast in the burger was rubbery and tasteless. It may have been microwaved. I had to add some ranch dressing dressing to choke it down. Since it had taken us that long just to get to that point we asked for our bill immediately. Apparently we weren’t the only ones with that experience today. The family at the end of our table also appeared to have some problems as we arrived. We should have taken a cue from their experience. A beautiful view from the patio but that’s the only thing this place has going for it. The food and service are a joke. Do yourself a favour and give this...

I love the patio: finally a place that is authentic and local, not built for tourists or all about branding; you can really relax, watching the boats coming back, the sea, far from the mass of tourists. I enjoyed this 1st July sitting there. The calamari were amazing: tasty, with a wonderful tempura, light but crunchy at the same time. Hard to find calamari so good and I’m a fried calamari hunter all around BC. Fries where fantastic too. I don’t drink beer, I ordered only a Coke and it was a real Coke: in some places they give ice and water. This one was a Coke. The service: excellent. The person who served us was super polite and always present to take care of us. Not a common quality: a lot of servers usually look annoyed by guests but this server was tranquil and attentive and knowing how to interact properly: not rushing us and not neglecting us. If not done yet, I recommend to spend some hours of peace, relax, good food and drinks on the patio downstairs. Thank you, I really appreciated. I don’t know the name of that server unfortunately, but a very good...

Sadly we did not get a chance to dine here because the server was so unpleasant and rude to us that we felt like an inconvenience. I honestly can't remember the last time I have experienced such poor customer service like this. We patiently waited to be seated by the waiter who walked by us three times and ignored us. No, "hello I'll be right with you." Then, finally, he came up and said "There's really not anywhere for you to sit right now but you can sit there if you want to." He pointed to an empty bench on the patio that wasn't even wiped. Then said, "I'll get to you at some point" So rude and unfriendly. The irony of the situation is they are hyper aware of Covid by still having the glass shields up, the waiter was wearing a mask that covered his face, sunglasses and we couldn't even see him. But yet, you want to seat us at a table that hasn't been sanitized or even wiped...Right. Makes perfect sense. We sat down for about thirty seconds and then decided we would not be staying as we felt more like an inconvenience rather than a guest. Will not...

Food: Not great. The fish fritters were good, Caesar salad was average, and the red curry wings were oddly acidic. We also got the clams, which were very small for the price. They ran out of several things on the menu by 6pm (before most of dinner service). The service: Our server was lovely, but clearly overworked and doing the best they could. The restaurant had two floors of patios open, as well as an indoor dining space. Guests could enter at two places and there was no host downstairs. Our server was running food up and down the stairs as well as trying to serve the entire lower patio, and manage incoming guests. All in all, our visit was around 2.5 hours and we did spend a lot of that time waiting. Final Thoughts: For the quality & quantity of the food probably not worth the price tag. There is potential for this to be a great spot. The drinks were alright and pretty quick out the door, the view was nice, and the staff were friendly. Unfortunately they were overwhelmed when we visited, resulting in a disappointing experience.

My family and I had such a great experience at Gramma's Pub on Saturday night! Our server Nikki went above and beyond to make our experience great. When we arrived the restaurant was really busy so we sat inside and were told there was going to be 1.5 hour wait on food. That was okay - we were just going to get drinks then (which were coming very quickly!). Nikki, our server ended up clearing a table off for us outside and moving us which we were so happy about because the view is great! Then she let us know the food wait was gone so that we were good to order whenever. We ended up staying for quite a white and tried lots of food and drinks. It was also my brothers bday and he ended up getting a free drink and meal which was so sweet! All of my family agreed that we were very happy we ended up there and will definitely visit again!

Not the trendy find that everyone gravitates to but so worth your time. Pub sign next to the liquor store is deceiving. Entrance to the Pub is around the right side of the liquor store. Definitely has sailor vibes inside the restaurant. Two levels of outdoor patio, top one with heaters, both over looking the harbour and Keats island. Excellent friendly service. We were surrounded by locals who mainly knew the staff. Had the fish tacos and seafood chowder. Both great. Seafood chowder, although a smaller serving—was filling and the best seafood chowder I’ve had. Washrooms are tight and a little run down and that’s the only not amazing thing id say about it.
