KFC — Restaurant in Golden

Stopped in Golden to try the NEW chicken sandwich they are advertising. Couldn't remember the name and the girl played a combination of silly word games and dumb with me when I described what I wanted. She told me that what I wanted was x but the price was over 1.5 times what has been advertised and the name didn't sound right, but she assured me that this was the NEW chicken sandwich. So I paid for the sandwich still not convinced what I had ordered was correct. So I looked up on the phone what the name was and of course it was different so I went back and said so and her reply was matter of fact " oh yeah, this location doesnt carry that sandwich as we are a franchise" . In disbelief of what I was trying to get help from her she acted like she had no idea of what I was talking about, but knew all along. I left without my sandwich as I could not believe the extent she went to deliberately mislead me. Never again. Not sure who owns the Golden location but no way it should be supported. Similar to another individual's observation, I noted that the prices here are higher than those at most KFC locations. I visited the establishment shortly after it opened for business. At the time, it was not busy, with only one other customer present.

While waiting for our food, only one additional customer arrived. My companion and I opted for the box meals that were being offered. I specifically inquired about the Zinger box, asking whether it contained strips or chicken wings.

The employee informed me that it contained strips, so I placed the order. However, upon receiving the meal, I discovered that it actually contained wings. Furthermore, I requested and was charged for extra fries, but they were not provided.

Additionally, we ordered small popcorn chicken, but the dipping sauces were not included. On a positive note, the food was not as greasy as one would typically expect, and it was served hot.

I've been here twice in the past couple months. Both times, I've ordered the famous chicken sandwich as that's the only thing I ever order at KFC. Both times, they informed me that it may take up to 15 minutes to make and I always get the feeling that they don't want to make it. 15 mins for a sandwich is ridiculous but okay fine I'll wait. I placed my order at 1:07 and got my order at 1:36, 29 minutes later.

The staff that took my order was on his cell phone the entire time having a personal conversation. I found it quite rude and unprofessional. Please train your staff on common courtesy. Here is a great example about how poor service can ruin the overall experience at an establishment. I will be back to see if things have improved on my next visit and will change my review accordingly. Please do better!! I know...
