I think I've only ever been to Burger Baron once or twice in my life and I've lived in Edmonton for over 40 years. I noticed people mention The Lebanese Burger Mafia documentary in some of the Google reviews so I decided to check it out after ordering a mushroom burger combo. The documentary was informative and taught me a lot about Burger Baron's origins and how the business is run today.
The mushroom burger I ordered was pretty tasty. I'm not sure why I haven't gone more often over the years, but it's probably because I never tried the mushroom burger before. I think I tried a donair at one location and a basic burger at another, and neither meals were anything special. I think the key with Burger Baron is understanding which items are best to order at each location. The mushroom burger definitely stands out at this location. I think I'll be going a bit more often from now on.

Ordered for delivery on 09/19/24. The french fries I received with my order weren't fried long enough. I received cold, extremely soggy, and oily fries. Not a single fry was crispy either. A clear indication that the fries weren't in the fryer long enough. Keep in mind, my burgers were still warm. Delivery was also quick so there's no reason why the fries would have gotten cold unless they weren't prepared properly. Read moreI hated that when I went to Burger Baron that it was not the same food it has drastically changed I can't get over paying for half a cup of dry ribs for $8. Especially when I can go over to superstore and grab a nice great big bag for $9 that will feed 5 people. Absolutely disgusted that Burger Baron has decided to take the route of the customer doesn't matter. There was nothing wrong with the food before I don't know why new entities come in and they feel they need to change it. Go open up your own restaurant and serve your Own personal recipe and leave Burger Baron alone. Burger Baron has always had amazing food until recently. The bad attitude at the window it's too much. Meats and other temperature sensitive products are stored away immediately after use leaving a clear clean work area. The service is friendly and prompt with a sense of efficiency to completion of ones order. Knowledge of the menu and available sides to customize your oder to liking is pleasant. The eating area is clean and plainly laid out to find avaliable seating while still in sight of the order counter to retrive items when ready and announced. Though an older building the facility is kept clean uncluttered and in good order by staff/ownership. The washrooms are the only draw back to the operation being small and single service. Though the size and age plays a factor to the restrooms they are again kept in good order and clean.
