Dairy Queen Grill & Chill — Restaurant in Greater Strathcona

If I had the option for no stars I would! This place is filthy filthy and that was just what I could see. I would hate to see the kitchen area if the rest of the place was any kind of indication. We took our grandchildren here cus they live just down the street. I used the cleaner of the 2 highchairs, but it wasn't cleaner by much. The picks dont show things as well as they actually were. The high chairs have not been cleaned in a VERY long time! The dirt and stuck on food was gross. If I didn't have to fix the wheel of the stroller I would not have put him in it at all! There was couple sitting in there when we got there and one person ahead in line. That was it, yet all the tables were dirty with food and stuck on stuff. My arms stuck to the table so I had to clean it and it was so half dry stuck on syrup or something that had obviously been on there at least most of the day. One person ahead of us but took 25 minutes to get our food. Ridiculous! And the food was bland cold and not very fresh tasting and my berry cake was barely anything and big voids down further in the cup. And for the price you pay.....it was TERRIBLE! McDonalds is like fine dining in comparison. Went to the washroom and there was blood on the wall, poop smears on the wall by the toilet, all of which have been there for about a month or more according to another customer that I had warned on my way out of there. It's hard to see in the pics but all the windows look like they were washed with dirty toilet water. I will not set foot in this place ever again!

If any health inspectors are reading this......this is one place I would be making sure to...

I'm not sure if there is a way to give zero stars. I ordered a cake online four days prior to pick up. When i went go pick up said cake, not only did they not have it but they made it seem like it was my fault for them not doing their job. No one said anything to perhaps make it up to me, they asked ME IF they should call the manager. Yes you should've called the manager if no one on staff is capable of actually making a customer feel like when they wronged said customer ( who paid for a bunch of food prior to realizing they made such a colossal mistake I might add, now a very very PAYING customer) No one offered a solution, no one offered perhaps a new cake at a later date, or another kind of cake or ANY kind of solution. Just stared at me and threw their shoulders up and watched me walk away. Waiting that long for a customized birthday cake, to walk away with nothing is as anyone can imagine completely unacceptable. Birthday cakes are planned around and are important part of peoples days and plans. Unacceptable. A service I used to rave about, now a company I will work very hard to make sure no one goes to ever again. Absolute appalling service. Shame...

It is a very small Dairy Queen store, and there is no drive thru at this location. There were only two people working. Which is insane as it was very, very busy when I went there around 8 30 pm. There was one person cooking, and one person was working the till and making all the ice cream treats. It was way too busy for me. It took them over 15 minutes to even take my other. Then, it took them well over 40 minutes or more to complete my order. I only ordered a very small and very simple meal, one burger, medium onion rings, and a medium bilizard thats it. I was not impressed with how very long it took to get my meal. They need to hire and have way more people working at this location. There were 2 people ahead of me, and at least 8 other people came in after me waiting to order. Although the food was amazing as usual. I would not recommend going to this location unless you have a lot of time on your hands. It is definitely not the pla e to go to if you are in any kind of...
