Delicious drinks, pretty unique items on the menu and a lovely view from the patio. I'm happy to finally see a few vegan options on this menu! I don't believe this is very new but I haven't been in quite some time. We went on a dismal gray evening and only their patio was available if we wanted a table right away. It was actually awesome, their patio has a high roof covering with an enormous heater built into it. I didn't notice the heater until I got so warm I had to remove my jacket which I first thought was because of the very tasty mushroom soup I was sharing with my 5 year old daughter (who "doesn't like mushrooms" 😆) but I noticed it when I looked up. The service was very good, though (we never asked so no big deal) no one ever thought to give us a cloth or a few paper napkins or even coasters as the humidity really made for a lot of condensation on our drink glasses and soaked a large part of the table. The servers may not have been able to spot that from the angle they were at mind you but it would have been a nice touch. The service was still very good, courteous, prompt and some enternaing personality 👌 my daughter enjoyed her pasta with tomato sauce and a nice sprinkling of fresh grated Parmigiano, she was delighted with how yummy the cheese is all my itself 😄 my husband was a bit disappointed with his fish tacos as they were not as good this time as he recalled them to be and he didn't really enjoy his choice of root veggie fries but I thought they were great! I had the kale noodle stir fry and it was pretty good but I don't know that I'll order it again. It almost has a cream type sauce (vegan though which is awesome, thank you milestone! We'd love to see more choices!) I wish it had more veggies or something, I'm not sure exactly. We will probably go back someday for appetizers and definitely try something else next time. If you're lucky enough to have a choice on the patio, I recommend closer to the north east side as there's a nicer view of new sudbury from that end but the entire patio is west facing with very lovely...
Read moreterrible experiance yesterday at Milesones Sudbury. We had a person with mobility issues with us and the hostess wanted us to sit in the bar for the best and fastest service. The music was REALLY loud. She told me it was that loud everywhere in the restaurant. |Once we were seated I told her she would have to get the music turned down as we were yelling to talk to each other. She said only the manager could do that and she would get him. She came back to say he was busy but would come soon. We waited 5 min , no one came to take our order, water or turn the music down. I went over and asked speak to the manager, he was too busy but the bar tender would turn the music down. The bar tender finally came over to take our order after 20 min and i asked her to turn the music down. She suggested we move into the other side of the restaurant where the music was quiet. I explained that the hostess had requested we sit in the bar and now that we were settled we didn't want to move. It should have been obvious with a walker that getting up and moving wasn't going to be our first choice. She grudgingly turned the music down. The manager never came out, after all with 10 people in the restuarant he was much too busy, our meal service was slow, the menu uninspired and has not been changed for 3 years and the food was lackluster. When we left at 130 there were only 3 people in the restaurant. Milestones, you...
Read moreCame with my boyfriend and had a generally pleasant experience. More than a couple things could have been better, especially for the price you pay.
I would recommend a dirty soda if youre not partaking, and the ahi tuna sushi bowl!
Food:
I had the ahi tuna bowl and I'd rate it a 4.5/5, it was amazing the dressing on it was to die for! I loved the edamame however the large chunks of cucumber were awkward to eat with everything else and I almost wish there was less carrot and red cabbage. I do love both of those things but there was just a lot on the plate, I would've preferred more rice or edamame. The amount of tuna was perfect for me.
My boyfriend had the salmon and he didn't seem thrilled with it, which is a shame because that's what we heard was good here. I tried a bite too and the cook on it might've just not been right.
Service:
When we walked in the hostess was hitting her pen so that already gave me a chuckle, I'm not a super judgy person so I didn't think much of it but she was also not very friendly. Our waitress as well just wasn't very friendly and kind of pushed us to order more drinks when we weren't even halfway through ours. Nobody was rude, but they weren't welcoming or kind either.
Atmosphere: The establishment itself is beautiful! The seating was lovely, if it was a nicer day we couldve sat outside too. I knocked off a star for atmosphere because our table and menus...
