Pizza Joint — Restaurant in Greater Sudbury

I didn't think this place could possibly live up to the hype, and I ordered it preparing to be nitpicky. No online ordering for this place. No third party delivery service. You call a number to order, like back in the day. A very straightforward man took my order - no chit chat, took about 25 seconds. Delivery to the West End took about 30 minutes. The pizzas were piping hot when they arrived. The pizzas the dude brought were VERY high quality pizzas. We ordered a house special and a pep and cheese. Not one canned topping. Perfectly sauced. Perfect topping ratio. Absolutely perfectly cooked - the crust had just the right crispiness on the outside and soft on the inside. Not greasy. Every topping was cooked just right - not raw, not mushy and overcooked. Quality mozzarella browned juuuust the right amount on top. Pizza Joint blows the chains out of the water, of course. There are a few really good mom-and-pop places in town though. Regardless, Pizza Joint is a serious contender for best pizza in Sudbury. I guess sometimes legends end...

If I could give -10 stars I would. The absolute most DIFFICULT, RUDEST place to ever deal with in my whole life. If you want ANY SORT of CUSTOMER SERVICE you will not find it here. They are a difficult, grudge holding establishment and no matter what I said to make things right (offering money, compensation, apologies, asking what I can do, guaranteeing constant customer service) didn't matter. He was so rude, spoke over me, hung up on me, etc. Even if he unbans my parents (even though it was my fault for not hearing the door, plus my door bell was broken) I wouldn't even WASTE my hard earned money on a place that rude and difficult. Customer service is EVERYTHING in sudbury and I wouldn't waste a dime on a place that is SO rude even when a customer is being reasonable and negotiable and offering YOUR establishment money to fix the issues. DON'T WASTE...

Wanted to try supporting a small family pizzeria tonight but once we started to eat the pizza we found there was little to no sauce on it. We called to discuss if the pizza's were always prepared like this but were welcomed with very rude customer service. After much discussion over the phone they finally decided to remake our order. We drove back to pickup the second order and were again greeted with horrible service but they did remake the pizzas which was much appreciated. Needless to say we will not be ordering from here again and this so called "pizza" should be renamed to almost rightfully as bland focaccia. Please improve on...
