First of all, truly a first in the area. Our three star rating is not based on the service , food, or ambiance as it's a wonderful addition to the growing Grimsby community. It is based on basics of a restaurant business and the regulations of the province. The restaurant must have an operating washroom for guests as it is a dine in space for more than 5. I see the similar comments here months ago ; each time we went, and one time, with seniors , they asked us to the washroom elsewhere and that their washroom is out of service. Please don't be angry at my review ; the first time, it was believable but the second and multiple times, it's dishonest and disrespectful to loyal customers. It dents the reputation you are trying to build and foster ; diminishes your all around beautiful cafe.
In Ontario, restaurants are required to provide washroom facilities for their customers. The specific requirements for washrooms in restaurants are outlined in the Ontario Building Code and the Public Health Act. These regulations cover aspects like the number of fixtures, accessibility features, and maintenance standards.
My party tried to have the conversation with the staff member and he advised us to just complain to Public Health. It's really foolish to do so. I prefer having this type of feedback in private and for the owner to act; we did not had the opportunity when the staff member took this position. My understanding with benefit of the doubt is there are values the staff hold which are different to the Ontario community and do not want to follow the guidelines hence the permanent " out of service " template may work for some customers or one time customers but not customers who have other options, including Turkish cuisine.
Please respect the guidelines of the province; wishing you success as you grow and become a beacon of creativity in...

I’ve been to many Turkish Bakery and Cafes and Nurish Kitchen is not comparable to any of those. The kindness of the owners has made the atmosphere an extremely nice place relax and enjoy your food & drinks.
I have to say though I’d fall in love with the food even if it’s sold from a street food cart. It’s unbelievable. Many things on the menu are the things I’ve been eating my entire life but I was asking myself “if this is Sarma, what was I eating before?” And same for “Su Böreği”, “Sigara Böreği” and “Tavuklu Börek”. They are absolutely delicious and sizes are really good and much bigger than what I would expect to get from a bakery. It’s like what your mom makes at home.
Service is excellent too. Nurish and Kaan took very good care of us during our stay there and while we were hustling planning to stay up to an hour, we spent 3 hours just taking our time to enjoy the food, the atmosphere and the company of our friends.

Read moreToday I ordered a sandwich and I was blown away by the size!!! It litteraly half a big Italian loaf! The quality of the ingridients is pristine it was soooo fresh. I took the chicken one and it tasted like heaven. Nothing I have experienced before. There was this amazing creamy cheese spread and some fresh herbs, tones of cheese and meat! You can easily feed 3 to 4 person, wish i had someone to share it with. I'm thinking or ordering some for our staff lunches. $17 sounded a bit on the expensive side when I ordered but now that I saw what you got for the money, it's definitely the best quality/price deal in town. Plus the staff is fantastic. It's a family business and they are all very pleasant to deal with. I have to say they went the extra mile and offered to deliver the sandwixh to my office (5 minutes away). I appreciated that tremendously as I was super buzy. I posted a picture but note that almost half of it was already eaten when I...
