Pita Pit — Restaurant in Guelph

Sorry to bring this to you people. I read these good reviews about this location and thought let me try out today, but I was truly disappointed. The senior gentleman working at this location has very poor customer service skill. He started raising voice and describing how difficult is to put the sous at the lower layer and because of that hard to fold the pitta. With all the respect I want to bring this to the owner of this location that the customers comes to pita pit to get the customized pita how he wants with desired layers and toppings. The senior gentleman started yelling to one of his own staff (young gir) who was working there and was really trying to help me to customize my pitta. She was very polite. I was giving 1 star for today's experience but because of the good service from the girl I am giving 2 stars. But the old gentleman really ruined my appetite. And more to this he totally forgot to add Falafal in my friend's pita while he was arguing why I can't have sous at the base layer. Hope this will reach to the owners and people please avoid to get served by the old fellow at this location.. this happened today Jun 18, 2017 around lunch time.

I usually do not write bad comments but I don't want anyone to get this kind of experience specially when you are hungry and want to eat the food how you like.

Owners, Kindly do not take this as a complaint but its just a suggestion to improve the standard of customer service at your business....

i went into the store a half hour before closing time, and the little girl at the counter served me. after making it 100% clear that my food was in a bowl. When it came to the toppings section she asked white or whole wheat, i confirmed again, that mine was in a bowl. she then told me that she didn’t know/didn’t hear what i said. She then asked me for a DOLLAR TO PUT IT IN THE BOWL. what kind of customer service is this? you messed up in the first place and i still had to come up with A DOLLAR to fix YOUR mistake. Not only was i embarrassed, i was okay with having a pita after not having a dollar. This girl.. she decides to give me the SMALLER PITA when i PAID for a FULL REGULAR SIZE. After she was done warming up my SMALL SIZED PITA, i was told that i was allowed to have it in a bowl. But when she was packing my bowl, she didn’t even pack it enough for the amount i paid for. And what i had ordered was a SOUTHWEST CHICKEN IN A BOWL, but got CHICKEN BREAST WITH THE SOUTHWEST SAUCE ON TOP INSTEAD OF ON THE GRILL. i got ripped off, i didn’t even got what i ordered and i deserve to have...

If I could give the WOODLAWN ROAD location in Guelph 10 stars, I would! After a different pita pit location unfortunately gave me food poisoning, we were reluctant to give pita pit a second chance. Unintentionally calling a little close to their closing time, they NAILED IT. Prior location had delivery issues, missing invoice/paperwork, service was decent( aside from the food poisoning)... WOODLAWN ROAD not only provided the paperwork and invoice, you can tell this location actually CARES about their customers!! The pitas were made perfect. Wrapped like it was a form of art. Food was hot, very tasty, and Louie couldn’t get a hold of his delivery company....what does he do? DELIVERS IT HIMSELF. Didn’t charge me for delivery either! And because he wanted to show us he appreciated our business, he even went above and beyond, apologizing for the OTHER location’s failures! Pita pit needs to get all locations to run like WOODLAWN ROAD! We are lifetime customer to the WOODLAWN ROAD location in Guelph! Thanks Louie and...
