Double Double Pizza on Sixth Line in Oakville is a solid choice for anyone craving quick and affordable pizza. This local spot is known for offering generous portions at reasonable prices, making it a go-to for families or those looking for a budget-friendly meal. The menu is straightforward, featuring classic pizza options along with wings, subs, and other typical pizzeria fare.
The pizza itself is satisfying, with a thick, doughy crust and a good amount of toppings. While it’s not gourmet pizza, it delivers well on flavor and consistency, especially for the price. Their signature “Double Double” deal offers great value, making it ideal for large groups or takeout on game night. The toppings are fresh, and the cheese is nicely melted, though some might find the sauce to be a bit too sweet.
The wings are a popular addition to the order, with decent flavor and a good variety of sauces to choose from. They’re crispy and meaty, adding a nice side to the pizza.
The service is friendly and efficient, though the ambiance of the location is more focused on takeout and delivery rather than dining in. There are a few seats available, but it’s not a spot you’d go to for a sit-down meal.
In summary, Double Double Pizza on Sixth Line is a great option for anyone looking for affordable, no-frills pizza with generous portions. It’s a reliable choice for takeout, especially when you’re feeding a crowd. While it may not be the most refined pizza in town, it hits the spot for casual,...
Read moreRather disappointed. First time in many years, I went to Double Double pizza and chicken. I ordered the 4 piece chicken with wedges for 10.99, and added 4 slices of garlic bread for 3.25. I added cheese for $0.49, I thought was to the whole order, but was $0.49 each slice, for a total of $5.21 for the garlic bread with cheese. The menu should state per piece or slice, for adding cheese. If looks like it's only 49 cents more to add cheese to either 2 or 4 slices. Grand total was $18.31. A little pricey but I was hungry, so I paid it. Really not much open at 10:30pm, in Guelph, except pricer places like Crabby Joe's,or Boston Pizza. First the price. Second, they didn't make any wedges for my order. Fortunately I was going to eat in the parking lot, so I didn't have far to go back. The counter guy said he was sorry and blamed the bill print out, which he showed me, which only says 4 piece chicken, and nothing about the wedges. Mmmm. He didn't seem like it was his night working, so really that's bs. Third, once I started eating the chicken, I found both thighs were not cooked enough and still half pink with blood. I think it'll be a very long time again before I...
Read moreI wanted to try their $9.99 Large special 3 topping pizza deal they have temporarily.
Staff were really nice and my pizza was done promptly, hot , and fresh when I came to pick it up. It was your average pizza, good flavor, but for $9.99 - I can't complain.
They unfortunately got one of our toppings wrong so I phoned back and the gentleman said he would let the manager know tomorrow and we would receive a free pizza.
The reason I'm giving 1/5 stars is as a word of warning for all people buying slices on the front counter or TGTG(Too good to go) pizzas/slices. This place will resell pizza that people have brought back from their homes.
Upon arrival for my free pizza the manager asked if I brought the pizza from yesterday back. I explained no and why, aren't you just going to throw it out? I was told they would resell it again as to not waste anything. (That should be a red flag for anyone). Also the manager felt since they only missed one topping it's "not a big deal" and I shouldn't be asking for a free pizza.
I absolutely will not be back. Sorry...
