Tim Hortons — Restaurant in Guelph

I would steer clear of this Tim Hortons. Something doesn't feel right when I was going through the drive thru here the other day.

I haven't been going to Tim Hortons a lot lately but I was surprised how cheap this one can be.

If you are asking for cream or sugar on the side they prefer to forget your cream and put your stir stick and sugar packages in the same bag as your food/donuts. I've never seen this before, usually they would put everything separately.

Staff were ok but I could notice everyone was on edge when I was asking for cream or sugar on the side. I had to ask for cream a second time before driving away, which is ok, but (maybe it was just me) it seemed like a weird exchange. I was very polite about it.

They also didn't supply any napkins with my meal which isn't great as it was messy.

My other experiences at Tim Hortons haven't been quite like this, I felt like I was doing them a disservice asking for basic things you'd get from Tim Hortons. Usually when ordering at Timmy's everything extra you ask for is put in a small baggy with napkins (since I ordered food) and I was sent on my way with a smile.

Unfortunately this wasn't the case here.

Definitely a 3/5 as the lady at the window serving me was very polite and everything else tasted like your typical...

I have stopped at this location a couple mornings a week for a couple years now. The staff that is working from 5-7 in the morning has always treated me well and never given me a reason to complain... Just about everything else with this store has fallen short of decent. Outside of the hours that I mentioned above, I have had an incredibly bad experience. I have waited 15 minutes in the drive through for a coffee and tea... nothing else. I have received many biscuit's in place of the English muffins that I have ordered. They have missed a bagel on multiple occasions, and a chocolate croissant... I have tried to call this location a few times with questions about the menu and have never actually had the other end pick up the phone. Every time I have come into the store to have an error corrected, I have always approached the staff in a civil manner. The staff addressed the mistake's with great customer service. It is just the attention to detail that lacks. There also never seems to be a manager on site.

Terrible experience! Order clerk on drive thru was not paying attention and had to ask over and over for us to repeat our lunch order. Kept saying "is that all?" we were really inconveniencing her by being there. We ordered 3 cheese sandwiches, 2 everything bagels with cream cheese toasted, earl grey tea, bag in; dark roast with milk and sweetener; and a diet coke. The total should have been 27.59 but she charged $25.90...hmm something is wrong, so we got the girl on cash to read our order back....and yes the order taker was not listening, we missed a bagel. We waited and waited and waited, and finally our order came. It was short one sandwich, and the two we received had bacon on them. We were at the drive thru, so we go around and park the truck and go into the store to get our third sandwich...without bacon. We were told, quite rudely in fact, that we ordered two sandwiches with bacon. We were lying...we said check the order. We finally got our third sandwich without bacon, but it was an ordeal!
