Killer Cupcakes — Restaurant in Guelph

Blew my mind!! 🤯 This baker's cookie (the Stefani) literally registered shock in my brain at how incredible it was!! Definitely drop everything and head over here for it! The Cookies and Cream cupcake and the Red Velvet cupcake are amazing as well! Don't miss these ones either! The cake part is as soft as a pillow, and their icing is perfect! Wow! 😍 All of their icings aren't too sweet. So far, I have enjoyed all of my purchases. They have the best cookies and cupcakes that I have ever had at any bakery!

Prices: See my pics for more details. 1 cupcake: $3.80. 1 cookie: $2.40. Money Cake (cupcake): $5. Drinks: $5.50-$6.50.

Types of eating: A small amount of indoor and outdoor. Takeout. You can show up Thursday through Saturday from 10-1 to walk in and pick out what you like to take home -- first come, first served. Pre-order is also available.

Staff: Great, helpful person manning the store! He told me that I should keep the Stefani and the Money Cake cold - and boy, was he right! Perfection!

Stock: They have one baker that makes everything, so it is first come first served unless you pre-order. I came at 11 and they had lots available.

Store: This place has personality! I love the character of their decor. So many places are bland and just modern.

Parking: There is free street parking in front of the store (15 min and 2 hour). There is also free 2 hr. street parking along Carden Street and throughout the downtown. Macdonell parking lot is free as well. There is a paid parking garage (Market Parkade) at the corner of Wilson & Northumberland St.

Not your average cupcake shop. I’d call this little slice of heaven a bonafide bakeshop aka mind blowing cakery. The decor and ambiance is kitschy, rainbow-esque, Vegas glitzy & a little macabre and you eyes will be thrilled with every inch of the tiny little shop! The offerings of cupcakes change weekly, with flavours for kids, adults & the young at heart. Speciality cakes can be ordered in advance. Plus they also have little nibbles (like cardamom spice biscotti or lavender sponge cake) to go with your coffe or herbal tea most days of the week. They just added a fascinating beverage menu which is out of this world delicious & exciting! I’m inspired how these folks keep it current, cool & fresh. Always upping the food ante with their offerings. Their beverage menu is full of superfood and palate probing wonders (like CBD bullet proof coffee, lemon royal the iced coffee with lemon and lavender & a turmeric based steamer). I had mushroom milk made with macadamia nut mylk and a double shot of Expresso today that was 5 star wonderful. I can’t wait to try everything on their menu aka NEED list! So many DELICIOUS health promoting, Expresso and Herbal based refreshing beverages HERE !! The shop is a pick up & go spot but they do have two bar stools at the counter if you want to sit while you wait for your latte...

I just have too say every time I've been to killer cupcakes many times, the owners have been very good to me and thier cupcakes are fantastic, I had called a few days early to make sure they would set aside something for valentine's day because I knew it might be a problem going there the day of, just like anything on valentine's day it's good too book in advance, seems to me the bad reviews are from human cupcakes who think the world should revolve around them, these people too me seem like they are natural born complainers. I will go back because I do have respect for what they do, and anyone who thinks running a business is easy should attempt it. When people do thier best to make everyone happy it's a real disappointment that it goes unnoticed. Dont worry about the bad reviews these people are just unhappy in life and want too take it out on you. Keep up the good work...
