It was mothers day and we arrived in the afternoon with my family and it was off hours in between lunch and dinner. They had the closed sign on the door but people were in, some lady came to the door and said we could come in, then one of the employees came to greet us and she said she will go check with the chef if they can let us in
We ended up going in but waited quite a bit for a table to be cleaned up.
Took forever for our order to be taken and at that point the private party had left.
We didnt even get water or our drinks until we asked much later.
They offered us a free dip appetizer which was nice.
At one point a family came in and left without ordering because they couldn't be bothered to wait so long for their order to be taken.
Food overall was ok honestly, nothing to brag about, I've had persian food elsewhere and had better flavors
We were given tea at the end as a compliment.
I feel bad for small business owners but if service doesn't improve this spot cannot survive. It seemed like a family business but on a day like this you need to be well staffed, organized and on the ball.
Id order takeout maybe,, not sure I'd go back...
Read moreI usually love Yum Yum Kabab. I’ve tried a few of their kebabs before and they were always tasty.
But today afternoon I brought 10 friends from Toronto. Even though we didn’t have a reservation, the staff found us a table—thanks for that. Two friends chose Ghormeh Sabzi and Gheimeh. Both stews were so salty and with low quality that they couldn’t finish them and felt a bit sick afterward. It was a big let-down, especially because I’d talked the place up to my friends.
I still think the kebabs here can be great, but the restaurant needs to keep enough food on hand and watch the salt. I hope next...

The complimentary lentil soup and flatbread set the tone with their rich, comforting flavors, perfectly balancing taste and texture. Every dish on the menu bursts with authentic, flavorful ingredients, making each bite an absolute delight.
The highlight was the thoughtful touch at the end of the meal: complimentary tea and pistachio cookies. The tea was aromatic and soothing, while the cookies were a perfect sweet treat to round off the experience.
Overall, the food is incredible, and the little extras make the meal feel indulgent and special. Highly...
