We tried K-Fry as it was one of the restaurants open later at night. We got the Party Plan #2 with the Sweet Soy & Sweet Spicy sauce chicken. The food is well seasoned, and the chicken is moist and tender, avoiding the common issue of dryness. The staff is friendly and attentive, providing excellent service. This is by far the best Korean fried chicken in Halifax! They are always so kind and friendly when I’ve dined in or picked up food (especially the lady at the front!), and whenever I order online the food is packed nicely and exactly as requested. The soy garlic sauce chicken is MY FAVOURITE and I also love the beef japchae. The party plans are also great options for a larger group, all my friends are happy when I order from K-Fry! Highly recommend to everyone!

Best Korean fried chicken in Halifax. Love the combo of deep fried chicken bites with tater tots. Their taters are so crispy on the outside and so soft on the inside. We tried the Korean corn dog too and it was delicious. The outside tasted like a sugar coated donated whereas the inside has melts cheese on one side and a sausage on the other. Plenty of parking available and there are even some seats right outside the shop to enjoy the food.

We had no choice but to order for a delivery. We ordered a variety box of the chicken, kimchi fried rice and japchae(Korean noodle dish). The chicken was fried to perfection, still crunchy when it arrived, there was four kinds plus the box came with a few appetizers as well, some dumplings and deep fried sushi( see my pics). The chicken flavours offered something for the different pallets at our table, I personally liked the one covered in sauce! The japchae was good but not as good as the location on Birmingham st, and the kimchi fried rice was lacking the punch and zing that comes with kimchi, maybe next time I can ask for them to kick the spice...

I had heard so much hype about Korean fried chicken, so I finally decided to try it and ordered the boneless fried chicken a couple of days ago. Unfortunately, I was really disappointe. Maybe my expectations were just too high. The chicken had absolutely no flavor. It felt like neither the meat nor the batter was seasoned at all. It was bland and honestly not enjoyable.

Maybe this place is better known for its sauced chicken? I think I'll try that next time before I give...
