I would say this is the best Chinese restaurant in Halifax. This used to be one of my go-to spots. But the portions seem smaller this time, and the flavors aren’t as bold as they used to be.
The wasabi duck feet were still the highlight—boneless, with just the right hint of wasabi for a flavorful kick. Highly recommended!
The beef with pork intestines has always been a must-order, but this time, the intestines had a bit of an off taste, and the stir-fry lacked that perfect crispiness. The spice level was also noticeably lower than before.
Tried the new roasted fish this time—it had a strong cumin and spice blend, and the tofu inside was bland. Tasted like they just threw those in after the fish was cooked.
