When it comes to food: delicious! I had white-jade dumplings and chicken legs. Both home made. Cooked well. Excellent taste.

If you’re craving authentic Chinese street flavors in Halifax, this little spot is a hidden gem. The portions are incredibly generous — honestly, the amount of meat in the noodles shocked me (in a good way!). The flavors are bold, rich, and unapologetically Chinese — not something “adjusted” for Western palates.

The young owner is warm, friendly, and clearly puts heart into his food and business. Prices are very reasonable, and you can tell they care more about customers eating well than cutting corners.

The noodles and dumplings we got were great, and the service was friendly enough as well. I wouldn’t be too deterred by the negative reviews as it could just be a matter of not being familiar with what food from certain regions of China is like. As for the service, it could just be a language barrier. I enjoyed the food I got yesterday, and also appreciated that they packed the soup separate from the noodles so that they didn’t get soggy. It was a sizeable portion too....
