Mezza Lebanese Kitchen — Restaurant in Halifax

Mezza was so delicious when it first opened, and I told everyone how great it was. Sadly, the quality of the ingredients has decreased over the last couple years. Serving sizes are smaller too, but I could overlook that if the quality was good. The chicken shawarma is now less meat, and more fatty bits-either hard, or slimy. I want to provide a review for this restaurant. I went many times for lunches there while I was working downtown. I tried shawarma chicken, the mixed plate mostly. It is full of flavor, garlic, spices, I always ate until the last bite.

Now that I moved to London Ontario, I miss your food, your sauces are great, your food cooked to perfection, fresh, just out of the oven. Your rice fluffy and warm.

Everyone has been telling me how amazing Mezza is, and how I should try it given the opportunity. What I learned is, if I have the option to get tacos, I should get tacos. While the food wasn't terrible, I have enjoyed better Mediterranean Lebanese style food, and for the price of $15 (which included my bottled water) I expected to be wowed.
