Grand Parade — Attraction in Halifax

This place was in walking distance from the Barrington hotel where I was staying. People would stop here & read, have there coffee, lunch or just lay out on the grass. Lots of statues, monuments, picnic tables & lots of history. Set between there city hall ( built in the the late 1800's) and a church from colonial times, quite inspiring.
