I've been fortunate to experience Swaad Saga on multiple occasions since its recent debut, and it has consistently left me utterly enchanted. This eatery has rapidly become my top choice for exceptional vegetarian Indian cuisine in our town. If I were to encapsulate my impressions in a few words, it would be 'pure culinary delight.'
One of the remarkable features of Swaad Saga is their mastery of spices, ensuring a perfect balance in every preparation. The art lies in harmonizing the flavors, and they've accomplished this with precision, resulting in dishes that are neither excessively fiery nor disappointingly bland. It's an experience of authentic Indian flavors that doesn't overpower the palate.
While the Mango Shake remains the star of their beverage offerings, it's an absolute masterpiece. This creamy concoction transcends the ordinary; it's an unforgettable indulgence. The quality of mangoes used is unmistakably superior, and the preparation is nothing short of perfection. Sipping on this Mango Shake is akin to savoring the very essence of a sun-ripened mango, and it's rapidly become my personal favorite at Swaad Saga.
What sets Swaad Saga apart is its focus on pure vegetarian cuisine, offering a diverse range of delectable options to choose from. The absence of a dine-in option works to its advantage, as it allows you to savor these delectable offerings in the comfort of your own home. This convenience is perfect for sharing a scrumptious meal with friends and family, enhancing the experience of relishing these flavors together.
The simplicity of the establishment's design and its dedication to the purely vegetarian menu make Swaad Saga stand out. It's an ideal choice for those looking for an authentic taste of India to enjoy outside. The absence of non-vegetarian items ensures a completely vegetarian culinary experience that caters to a broader audience.
In conclusion, Swaad Saga has set a new standard for vegetarian Indian cuisine. With its skillful balance of spices and an emphasis on purely vegetarian offerings, it's a culinary experience that stands out. The Mango Shake, a true highlight, is a testament to the quality and dedication that Swaad Saga embodies. If you're in search of genuine vegetarian Indian cuisine with the convenience of enjoying it at home, Swaad Saga should be your destination of choice. It has earned every one of those five stars, and I eagerly look forward to my next delightful experience at this...
Read moreThis place serves authentic Indian snack items. The food is definitely spicy and caters to Indian population tastebuds.
Spoke to Ridhi 1 time on the phone when the order did not come with Vada in the Vada pav, she was nice and handled the problem really well. Unlike the other guy on the phone before her, who said that the Uber driver must have taken the vada out of the vada pav before delivery!😂 Customer service and accountability when a mistake is made is very important for continued success.
I have tried their Manchurian rice, Manchurian gravy, butter and cheese Vada pav (ask for chilly because if you don’t specify they won’t add it) cheese/ regular dabeli, tandoori paneer sandwich and aloo tikki burger that comes with chips instead of fries.
All the items mentioned above were 10/10 🔥 the items with cheese didn’t have much cheese in them but the taste compensated for the lack of cheese. Vada pav comes with an authentic pav instead of a burger bun which most places use as a replacement. The chutneys are on point.
As for improvement, I would love to see them offer the little crunchy snacks that come with vada pav in Mumbai. Would be great to have a “less spicy” option when ordering online or in store because the food is genuinely very spicy 🌶️. The Vada itself could be more crunchy and the aloo tikki burger while being tasty is expensive for $9.99 ( doesn’t come with actual fries and a pop)
That being said, would love to see them add items like Rabdi Falooda, chaat and more casual snack items to their menu in the future.
All the best guys, you are rocking it! May you continue to have more success in...
Read moreTerrible place for someone to be, the staff doesn’t know how to treat their customers. They are greedy and they just care about their money and not about their customers. I went there the other day and ordered 2 vada pav and I asked the restaurant to pack them into 2 separate containers and the staff argued with me for more than 10 min saying that even if price on their menu for 2 vada pav is $8.99 and 1 for $4.99 if someone will ask the restaurant to put them into 2 containers they will charge each one separately…”Scammers”. And they told us that they only give 1 container of chutney with 2 vada pav that’s why they are charging less but if you ask them to put into 2 containers they will have to put another chutney in it and it increases their cost. what a shame on the restaurant name thay they are giving 2 vada pav with 1 chutney and they argued with me on that and that’s not it when I went home I checked the size of the container is very small and it was half filled they are so cheap that they can’t even fill the container even after charging me extra. I have also ordered vada pav from another place as well. They not only give chutney with every vada pav but chilli as well and their vada pav is much tastier and bigger than them. This was not the first time they are treating customers like that. My friends also complain about the same. But all in all I am done with them. And just want to tell everyone that there are much better place you can...
