Mary Brown's Chicken — Restaurant in Halton Hills

Wherever I go here in ONTARIO, I must Say, that employees are really friendly and helpful. Which is a must for me. Also very clean and well maintained. Being from Newfoundland myself, Im very PROUD to introduce new customers to experience the BEST TASTING CHICKEN and Taters in Canada , imo. 🙂👌🍗 The Portions are HUGE compared to KFC and other chicken places in the area. When its fresh and hot, there is no better. The CHUNKY TATERS are seasoned to perfection and the gravy is a perfect compliment for dipping. The Coleslaw is not my favorite,I prefer the green one, however it's still darn delicious 🤗 The BIG MARY MONDAY value is great. That burger is really good and filling. I love it as well when they have promotions such as the BATTERS BOX SPECIAL. GREAT DEAL!! I hope that they can implement the same idea for HOCKEY in the winter months, perhaps call it the PENALTY BOX! 😁👌🍗 My only small complaint is the cost of the Coleslaw. A medium these days is the same size as what I remember being a small. The cost of $5.60 for such a small portion to me, is double the price of what it should be. The washrooms are really well kept as well. OVERALL I GIVE ANY & ALL MARY BROWNS A 5 STAR REVIEW. 👌👏👏Well Done Mary...

When I sit and wait 15 minutes for my order and a man walks in and orders the same meal as me and is handed his order and walks out, and I wait anouther 2 minutes before my order is ready! That is not right perhaps if I were Indian the same as the guy who go his order first, he spoke to the counter guy also Indian and walked out while I waited for the next order to be filled which he gave to me. That is discrimination in my eyes. NEVER AGAIN WILL I GO TO THIS RESTAURANT! IGNORANT COUNTER STAFF AS I COMPLAINED OF MY TREATMENT. He just blew me off and said here is your order. Whatever happened to first come first served? BAD ATTITUDE AND MANNERS BY COUNTER PERSON! Looking at other reviews now suggests that a training session should be done to make them aware of first in first out policy. I understand that call in and pre ordered meals get priority. However walking in and drive thru should be handled in order of time placed. The amount of reviews point to the facts! The apologies offered do not do anything to correct the issue, will NEVER go to this restaurant again. Seems the issue will not be corrected...

I'd love to give 5 stars as it's a new business in the area and I want to be supportive but the first time I went, they prepped and gave me my meal with no cutlery or napkins. The other more important issue is that the wax paper between my chicken melted and ruined the taste of my chicken. I also was charged an additional dlar for 2 thighs which I was fine with but now my second time here they charged me only 50 cents leading me to believe that I got ripped off 50 cents the first time. 50 cents is no big deal but the inconsistency is more my concern.

Update: still love Mary browns but this location is becoming unbearably inconsistent. Now it's 1 dollar upcharge for an extra thigh (I can accept this) but the kicker is that if I pay an extra buck for the thigh, I get an additional 50cent charge for all dark. So it's a dollar to get an extra thigh and an additional 50 cents for the end result which is all dark meat. But if I asked for all white meat, I wouldn't have to pay the extra 50 cents. This just...
